The Windy Mist Resort

Had an amazing stay at The Windy Mist. The staff was very friendly. Special mention to Mrs.Rajasree at the reception who was extremely helpful. The room was neat and has stunning views of the mountains. The location is on the outskirts of Munnar. The breakfast spread was also quite delicious.

Average experience . Complementary food ok dinner food very bad high amount paid noodles very bad . My child not eating. Complementary activity not provide person smile face but all people average good room pic not matching provide room. YouTube video only experienced average experience expiated

The hotel is near to Suryanelli and helped to reduce travel time to reach Kolukkumalai for sunrise view. Staying with family was decent and the staffs were very supportive. A common camp fire and complimentary breakfast were additional plus points. i will recommend the hotel who is commuting through this route with the purpose.. not to enjoy the climate or nature views.

Room and balcony size was quite small, apart from that it’s located in excellent location and food also very tasty

The property was neat and spacious with good views. There is a new building work going on and there is continuous noise from morning to evening. Even balcony couldn’t be used because new building blocks the view. Food was good, however they take lot of time to prepare. There is a nice view point with campfire inside the property, however that place stinks for some reason. Swimming pool is few meters away and not attached inside the property compound. Overall a decent place but can be better for the cost.

We had a wonderful stay at Windy Mist Resort during our Munnar trip. The resort is set in a breathtaking location, and the view from our room was absolutely stunning. It was such a treat to wake up to the serene beauty of nature! The service was excellent—every staff member was prompt, courteous, and always ready to assist. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with our baby’s needs, preparing customized food for him without any hassle. Speaking of food, the meals were delicious! Our package included breakfast, which was flavorful and fresh, and the restaurant itself was very well maintained. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well-kept, adding to the overall comfort of our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Windy Mist Resort to anyone visiting Munnar. Looking forward to staying here again in the future!

This resort is mind blowing. I would definitely recommend this place. Nice and clean resort with spacious rooms. The view from the rooms is awesome as this resort is on a hill. Just a km drive from the Munnar highway. Friendly and supportive staff. Very tasty food and the breakfast spread is also good.

This property is a piece of art! What a wonderful stay. Eveything in line . It lies on the top hence expect some high altitude mountain roads (approx-3 km stretch)

We got service from windy mist is really amazing , especially food is very very nice we loved it.The location is little bit far from munnar.

The resort is well placed atop a hill with a scenic view. The services provided were excellent including room service and additional requests. Rooms were pleasant and clean with all amenities. Wifi could be improved as cellphone connectivity can be a problem there. Food was tasty and up to expectations. Overall enjoyed the stay at windy mist. Hope to visit again.

Excellent service and food is tasty. Room no 401 view is restricted by another buliding. Trees in the middle of play area - you cannot play badminton or volleyball. Early check-in only and they are refusing on the face. Overall good.

Yes, the stay was good. Excellent location. Service is good. booking says 3 hours early check-in allowed but the front line staff refused on the face. We stayed in room no 401 balcony view is useless. Another building restricts the view. Outdoor play area limited i. E. They planted trees in the middle of a small place.

Nice ambience. Even had a camp fire. Resort feels like among clouds in early morning. Staff is friendly.

We stayed here with family and it was a great escape into nature. As the name this place is very windy and has beautiful views. The staff are well trained and food is good. The approach road to this location is steep and narrow.

It is on hill top, road to hotel is steep. 125 cc vehicle cant climb with pillion rider. Good Hospitality , amenities. Felt comfortable during stay. I would recommend this. Noon to evening , anayirangal dam and stretch upto periya kanal can be covered before back to room. next day morning travel to munnar or kuzhukkumalai direction shall be planned.

Hospitality of staff is so nice and the ambience at the stay was beautiful especially the potted garden
