The room I was assigned was in disappointing conditions. I was pretty disturbed that I had to go to a far located room, pass beside an amount of litter and a dirty mattress on the way to my room. After insisting to change the room they agreed to change me to another and pay extra charges. They didn’t changed that at the end.

Our 3 days stay at KTDC Tea county was just amazing.. a 10/10 experience. The location of Tea County made it easy for us to explore different directions of munnar. The whole service, food, hygeine, hospitality, the indoor and outdoor aesthetic appearance, stunning surroundings and welcoming atmosphere.. everything is so commentable. We stayed here for 2 days. The property was good and well-maintained. However, there was no shade facility available between the restaurant and the rooms, which made it very difficult to cross the passages during rain. The food quality and variety were below average.

Stay at KTDC Tea County Munnar was really good. Even though it's very close to the hustle and bustle of the city, the resort is on a steep hill. So the view is amazing. The facilities are well maintained and clean. The housekeeping and restaurant staff are polite and helpful. It is amazing to see a government affiliated resort so well run. The spa was amazing too. But a bit on the expensive side. The breakfast menu was excellent. The only disappointment was they didn't have Kerala sadhya or meals. They didn't have other Kerala cuisine specialities like avial etc. But I guess it's menu was designed to cater to the north indian crowd. Overall I would rate it as one of the best value for money stay in Munnar.
