Beautiful stay at a very low budget and the environment was peaceful and clean... really had a great time here.

This was a wonderful stay. The hotel's location was incredibly convenient, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a very comfortable bed. I also appreciated the complimentary breakfast, which had a great selection of both hot and cold options. I will definitely be returning on my next trip."

1. The picture of the view from room does not match with the photos provided . 2. In all the hotels I stayed so far the AirCon is controlled by the key inserted in the key holder. Here there was an additional switch to be switched on which they never informed during check in. As I was really tired yesterday so slept early without noticing it and only realised later at night when I was getting a chocking feeling. 3. Reception is not available before 8. So could not solve the issue in early morning. 4. Many linens are stained. 5. One of the plug point in wall is loose. 6. Breakfast not available before 9. Which is wired. And they told they even not able to pack even a basic breakfast if I am checking out about 8 AM and advised me to buy from outside. 7. Wi fi was coming on and off yesterday andvwhen I complained this morning they put a potable router in my room. If they knew about this problem they should have been done it earlier. 8. The water in washroom tap taste wired. Looks like not filtered properly.

My recent stay at this Hotel presented a curious blend of positives and negatives. On the plus side, the room itself was truly exceptional. The spacious layout, modern decor, and comfortable bedding created a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The large windows offered stunning views, and the feature, a coffee maker in-room was a welcome convenience. However, this positive experience was significantly offset by several shortcomings. The hotel's isolated location proved inconvenient, requiring considerable travel time to reach nearby attractions and amenities. Furthermore, room service was disappointingly slow and inefficient. Requests were often met with delays, and the quality of service didn't match the standards of the room itself. Adding to this, the response from the caretaker was unsatisfactory when addressing concerns. Finally, the lack of running water in the toilet for an extended period on the day of checkout was particularly frustrating and unacceptable. Overall, while the room itself was a highlight, the significant issues with location, service, and basic amenities detract considerably from the overall experience. I would recommend improvements in these areas before considering a return visit.

Good stay , hospitality is okay, but the road is too worst and the uphills and downhills are so steep , no nearby food restaurant and shops. overall good hotel with a nice view but the only concern is the road

We stayed at Sunrise Munnar during our family trip, and while the natural beauty around the property was truly breathtaking, there were a few challenges that affected our overall experience. The location offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The property itself was fairly clean, though the bathroom could have been better maintained. That said, the road leading to Sunrise Munnar is in very poor condition, making it difficult to reach, especially for those not familiar with hilly terrain. Another major downside was the lack of power backup. Power cuts were frequent, and without a generator, it became quite inconvenient, especially at night. We also found it hard to access basic necessities after evening hours. The reception desk was often unattended, and we couldn’t get even drinking water at night. With no nearby shops, this became a real issue. On the brighter side, the staff at Sunrise Munnar were very polite and helpful, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, although we had to wait a bit in the morning for it to be served. In summary, Sunrise Munnar has a lot going for it in terms of natural beauty and courteous staff, but it needs significant improvements in infrastructure and guest services to provide a more comfortable and hassle-free stay.

The place was good and the view was beautiful. But no toiletries and towel. A good place for family and friends.

Actually late checkin was allowed but the property is too interior and when we travelled around 7 pm the road was very scary with no lights and there were many very high steepy slope which we found it difficult to climb on using the cab. It was very adventurous and tensed to reach the place. They said only for the food we have to order 2 hours prior, but when I asked for water they said we are closed and water can be given only after 8.30 a.m. Providing drinking water is that difficult? I really wonder. And regarding the sunrise. Even before booking the room I enquired the person about the visibility of sunrise and I wanted him to give rooms where sunrise is visible and he agreed. But my room balcony was in the west, then how could I see the sunrise? Also when I asked for watching sunrise, the manager just said it is visible from all the rooms. I just wondered how is it even possible..! Like my guess it is not possible at all..! The only reason to book room in sunrise is to see sunrise which is not at all visible. Also security in the rooms. The rooms had only single main lock in the maindoor which can be open with a duplicate key from outside. No side latches or top latches are available in the room. So it was a bit scary. Anybody with the duplicate key can just open the room from outside when we are asleep. So we didn't had a good sleep for the whole night. But the room and bedsheets were clean. No safety at all. Anybody can open the room anytime with the duplicate key. And the glassdoors on the balcony and windows also very cheap, if someone breaks they can easily get into the rooms.

It was a good experience staying at Sunrise Munnar Resort. Every one with helping hand with Hindi communication. Guided us for site visit.

Good Place to stay. But They only give you complementary breakfast based on your booking. otherwise you have to take care of your hungry. we slept a night without food. place is located 1.7 kilometres away from main road. Otherwise everything is ok.

Food was good , location is little interior but peaceful , The room we expected had AC issue and we had to adjust with other room . Service was good.

Room is far away from the location they have given we are disappoint with the place We booked but we didnt like to stay in that area caz it is so exterior they are telling thats only 8km from munnar but its totally away like 50mins away and we have cancelled asking for refund

I stayed in a suite room, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, my experience at the hotel was positive. The staff was polite and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. However, there were a few minor issues worth noting. The location pin on the MakeMyTrip app was inaccurate, making it a bit difficult to locate the hotel initially. Also, there was a noticeable pungent odor in the restroom which affected the comfort level. Additionally, the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, although food delivery services were available and efficient. The hotel is located in an off-road area, and driving there at night might feel a bit unsafe due to the secluded surroundings. That said, the amenities provided—including Wi-Fi and toiletries—were satisfactory.

Location of property was good. Road was not well but was reachable. Dinner was not available at the hotel. Had to visit a nearby restaurant for food. Otherthan that it was a nice stay. AC was bit slow.

The property and the service was fabulous. It's a newly built property. Kitchen is not available currently but you will get a delicious breakfast. Staff is also so polite and good. Rooms are extremely beautiful. Highly recommend.
