Sunrise Munnar

We stayed at Sunrise Munnar during our family trip, and while the natural beauty around the property was truly breathtaking, there were a few challenges that affected our overall experience. The location offers stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The property itself was fairly clean, though the bathroom could have been better maintained. That said, the road leading to Sunrise Munnar is in very poor condition, making it difficult to reach, especially for those not familiar with hilly terrain. Another major downside was the lack of power backup. Power cuts were frequent, and without a generator, it became quite inconvenient, especially at night. We also found it hard to access basic necessities after evening hours. The reception desk was often unattended, and we couldn’t get even drinking water at night. With no nearby shops, this became a real issue. On the brighter side, the staff at Sunrise Munnar were very polite and helpful, which we truly appreciated. The breakfast was delicious, although we had to wait a bit in the morning for it to be served. In summary, Sunrise Munnar has a lot going for it in terms of natural beauty and courteous staff, but it needs significant improvements in infrastructure and guest services to provide a more comfortable and hassle-free stay.

I stayed in a suite room, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Overall, my experience at the Sunrise Munnar was positive. The staff was polite and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. However, there were a few minor issues worth noting. The location pin on the MakeMyTrip app was inaccurate, making it a bit difficult to locate the Sunrise Munnar initially. Also, there was a noticeable pungent odor in the restroom which affected the comfort level. Additionally, the Sunrise Munnar does not have an on-site restaurant, although food delivery services were available and efficient. The Sunrise Munnar is located in an off-road area, and driving there at night might feel a bit unsafe due to the secluded surroundings. That said, the amenities provided—including Wi-Fi and toiletries—were satisfactory.

One of the highlights of our stay was the panoramic view from our room's balcony. We were treated to mesmerizing vistas of Munnar's lush tea plantations and rolling hills, making every morning a visual delight. New property, rooms are 5 star level. I stayed here with my family and got a suite room and the bedroom is fully equipped with glasses for enjoying outside sceneries. This location is prime for munnar jeep safari in annamali and ponnamudi spots. Rooms, stay, ambience, hosting people, location, etc was awesome

Good Place to stay. But They only give you complementary breakfast based on your booking. otherwise you have to take care of your hungry. we slept a night without food. place is located 1.7 kilometres away from main road. Otherwise everything is ok.

It was a good experience staying at Sunrise Munnar Resort. Every one with helping hand with Hindi communication. Guided us for site visit.

The place was good and the view was beautiful. But no toiletries and towel. A good place for family and friends.

The property and the service was fabulous. It's a newly built property. Kitchen is not available currently but you will get a delicious breakfast. Staff is also so polite and good. Rooms are extremely beautiful. Highly recommend.

Good stay , hospitality is okay, but the road is too worst and the uphills and downhills are so steep , no nearby food restaurant and shops. overall good Sunrise Munnar with a nice view but the only concern is the road

Location of property was good. Road was not well but was reachable. Dinner was not available at the Sunrise Munnar. Had to visit a nearby restaurant for food. Otherthan that it was a nice stay. AC was bit slow.

it's was a memorable stay. Property is located in a very peaceful environment. Staff is very polite and cooperative.
