I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say it was an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, everything felt perfect. The location is simply breathtaking — surrounded by nature, with a beautiful view that looks magical in the morning mist and absolutely stunning at night. The facilities were top-notch, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged to ensure a comfortable stay. The service was excellent — every staff member was polite, attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was happy throughout my stay.

Terrible Stay

We got a room in the basement where we had to take stairs to the above floor. For 8k per day room. No welcome drink that was mentioned. Breakfast didn’t had options and was terrible in taste. It is located in secluded area. Don’t waste your money here

Our stay at Amberdale Hotel was an amazing experience from start to finish. The property is very well maintained and offers breathtaking views that instantly make you feel close to nature. We were welcomed with a refreshing cup of tea, which was a thoughtful gesture and set the tone for a memorable stay. The rooms were large, spacious, and comfortable, giving the kids plenty of space to jump and play around freely. The buffet dinner had a wide spread of dishes, and the food was delicious, catering well to different tastes. The hotel also had activities planned for guests, which we thoroughly enjoyed, and a guided hike that gave us a chance to soak in the beauty of the surroundings even more. Overall, Amberdale strikes a perfect balance of comfort, hospitality, and natural charm, making it a stay we will fondly remember.

Positive: -View from the plantation rooms is beautiful. You will find the hotel between the clouds. -Staff is very responsive and helpful -Location from the main city centre is around 15-20 mins. Negative: -Reaching to this location is a challenge. The last stretch of 1.5 km to the hotel is very difficult. It’s a narrow lane allowing only one car and very steep cuts. We also found animals (like deer and monkey) on the way so driving carefully is extremely important. We reached to the hotel a bit late in the evening and it was extremely cloudy and foggy with almost zero visibility. Would recommend to reach this location while there is good amount of light. -The put off for us was that the bedsheets, covers and towels were smelling and had multiple stain marks. -Multiple amenities that were mentioned such as dental kit, room slippers etc were missing. -While the rooms were decent but they need maintenance. Overall I would definitely not call this a 5 star or luxury property. There is a huge gap for them to reach to an actual 5 star property. The amount of money being charged is not worth the experience.

Charged Rs.2,000 extra for Same kind of room just for lift.

Booked room for Senior citizens. Lift was not available for our rooms. They charged Rs.2,000 extra in cash for same kind of room with same view just for the lift. Charging extra even when room with lift access is available is not good practice. Ambience is of the hotel is also not good.
