Review Of Amber Dale Luxury Hotel and Spa

My stay at Amberdale was truly unforgettable. The food was exceptional, offering a perfect blend of flavor and freshness, while the ambience created a warm and elegant atmosphere that made every moment feel special. The view was breathtaking, with serene landscapes that added to the overall charm of the place. Everything—from the hospitality to the setting—was excellent, making it a perfect getaway experience.

Very nice stay,friendly staff , ambience was good ,weather was very cool...

Positive: -View from the plantation rooms is beautiful. You will find the hotel between the clouds. -Staff is very responsive and helpful -Location from the main city centre is around 15-20 mins. Negative: -Reaching to this location is a challenge. The last stretch of 1.5 km to the hotel is very difficult. It’s a narrow lane allowing only one car and very steep cuts. We also found animals (like deer and monkey) on the way so driving carefully is extremely important. We reached to the hotel a bit late in the evening and it was extremely cloudy and foggy with almost zero visibility. Would recommend to reach this location while there is good amount of light. -The put off for us was that the bedsheets, covers and towels were smelling and had multiple stain marks. -Multiple amenities that were mentioned such as dental kit, room slippers etc were missing. -While the rooms were decent but they need maintenance. Overall I would definitely not call this a 5 star or luxury property. There is a huge gap for them to reach to an actual 5 star property. The amount of money being charged is not worth the experience.

Booked room for Senior citizens. Lift was not available for our rooms. They charged Rs.2,000 extra in cash for same kind of room with same view just for the lift. Charging extra even when room with lift access is available is not good practice. Ambience is of the hotel is also not good.

Everything is nice. There was some issue in the power supply. But the staff responded immediately and solved the issue.

Rooms were very poor placed, there was no view. Outside was completely masked from green cloth. Refrigerator was not working and then someone from front desk informed that it will not work. Even on first day, i called from outside about food then they told no order post 9.00 pm however while arriving at hotel understood that orders can be taken till 9.45 by that time we took some food from outside. There was no facility to food heating for outside food. Overall worst experience.

Property and ambience is really good, property is well maintained. Few improvement suggestions - 1. WIFI is patchy throughout the stay 2. Menu options for vegetarians is limited

It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. I absolutely loved staying here and would definitely recommend it to others.

The location was amazing and the view from the room was lao good..the stay was peaceful and very quiet. the hotel staff were also very helpful.

It was good, the staff are invaluable. Vegetarian food options are fewer. If you are trying food here, we would recommend you go for à la carte and not buffet
