We stayed at taj rishikesh for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday in the first week of august. Room: we booked the superior room for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids aged 1 & 4 yrs. The resort was kind enough to arrange for a cake for us on account of my birthday. The room was perfect size for us. The room & bathroom were squeaky clean, with basic amenities, like kettle, tea & coffee, welcome fruits, iron, toiletries, fresh towels and bathrobes. We had a balcony attached, with beautiful view of the gang-es and mountains. Please note, the balcony doors had to be kept shut at all times due to monkeys. Property & services:
the resort was absolutely beautiful and well maintained, with access to ganga beach for ganga aarti in the evening. Swimming pools for adults and toddlers were both clean, overlooking the river. They had a kids game room too. Spa, gym, yoga sessions were also available (though we did not use them. We ate at the pool side restaurant and the main restaurant at the lobby floor, both served delicious food. Food:
the morning buffet had a good variety of food, very tasty, and they even made separate food for our kids on request. The main restaurant and pool side restaurant also served us good food both quality and quantity wise. In-room dining service was also quick. Staff:
we were especially very impressed with the staff’s attitude and efficiency. They were so patient and polite with our kids. The chef was also very kind enough to make food for our kids on request. Overall, we had an absolutely amazing experience at the resort, and we would love to come back.
