Me and a few family members recently visited anand kashi for a relaxing time in the lap of the river gang-es and we were certainly impressed. It is rare that you experience a resort as close to perfection as anand kashi. The location is perfect, right at the bank of the river ganges, where the gushing sound of the torrents, which feels like music to you r ears, can be heard at every corner. The resort's effort to maintain the delicate balance between nature and man is truly commendable. Mischievous monkeys, butterflies, reptiles and even cute little birds consider this place their abode. The monkeys feed on the succulent mangoes growing in the vicinity, and the birds consume the nectar of beautiful flowers. These creatures live in content, having enough to eat and drink. This dedication to maintain the balance of nature truly gives this place a good vibe and sets it apart from its peers. The small bridges going over the small little streams which feed into the gang-es are also a very nice touch. Moving on to the food, anand kashi is absolutely a gastronomical delight. Breakfast is wonderful, with a wide assortment of both traditional and international cuisine, appealing to everyone. Dinner is a similar affair. With various types of dishes for every taste, though there is a special emphasis on garhwal cusine, which is truly praiseworthy, as it may be a new experience for many travellers. Anand kashi has various amenities for its residents, such as a swimming pool, which has a beautiful view of the ganges. The spa also provided amazing service and left us all feeling relaxed. The ganga aarti in the evening is extremely mesmerising, it is held at the bank of the river ganges, on a small sandy beach in the midst of boulders and rocks with a clear view of the mighty river. The sensation of dipping your feet in the ice cold water is truly wonderful. The staff here was very courteous and service was prompt. The shiv-ling made from towels in our room, along with the delicious traditional sweets and the large and luxurious room truly helped create a wonderful experience. The experience here was of the types you never. Forget. Our family unanimously agreed that we should. Come here again. Amazing, simply amazing

It was a wonderful stay, everything was 5 on 5. From hospitality to hotel location. The food too was exceptionally great. We had a really wonderful time, truly the best property in rishikesh.

Food is not good at all

From top to bottom, the staff was courteous and helpful, making us feel welcome. What a view of River Ganga from hotel.. feeling staying at Switzerland. Hotel is covered with greenery with access to river Ganga. Just enjoyed every moment there . Staff was really nice specially all restaurant staff, the chef aka pandit ji was also amazing. Pool staff Mr Pankaj was also very nice, help my kids in all four days…

We booked this property for our anniversary celebration and it was all worth. The staff and food is amazing. The view and closeness of the river is unbeatable. Loved it

The location is good. But food is average. They don’t have a vast spread of offerings when it comes to food. Hygiene is okaish. Pool is too small. No internal activity options. No play area for kids. Hospitality isn’t as promised. Its a new property hence the setup is nice but services aren’t at par with taj.
