Extremely untidy rooms, non helpful staff. They provide the smallest room for online bookings whose bed and bathroom seem never washed for months. Completely stay away if you are travelling with family. Only advantage is location

Wonderful location away from the civilisation. Neat and clean camps, exceptional hospitality and Mobile network availability. Second stay at this property was as good as the first one. Just that it's away from the river, but that's a given with most camps in Rishikesh.

Pleasant stay, very friendly staff and very supportive .. Quick service .. Food quality did not meet expectations .. And path to reach the camp is quite difficult to climb .. No signboards on the way and no 4g hence no internet connectivity during the stay

I stayed at Astral resort and you are showing Grand Shiva Resort Page. So first you rectify this thing and only then I can narrate the experience. I wonder if Grand Shiva and Astral are one and same? If yes i"d say the best thing is location and food.

Great property, amazing service and food and superb spa. Went for a quick 3 night retreat, and stayed in a deluxe valley view room. Room was on the smaller side but very comfortable, food amazing, although not satvic/ ayurvedic and on the expensive side. We did the yoga, meditation and gym classes. Spa services were really good, especially the Ananda Touch massage. All in all a wonderful stay, albeit quite expensive. The service was the most outstanding part of this stay, the entire staff is extremely warm and caring and they give this place a warm touch. Would've preferred some more advanced yoga but I understand it is a spa. Will definitely be back!

I did not like the approach of the Manager. It’s a excellent property, but not maintained. It clearly shows the arrogance of MD of operating co down the line, to the end user. No professionalism, only need of the job staff.

The Glasshouse on the Ganges is the perfect place to combine religious and pleasure travel. The property's proximity to all the religious hubs including Haridwar, Rishikesh, Devprayag etc. Makes it very easy for travelers who wish to fulfill their religious travel aspirations to establish this as a base. The property's unique location, right on the banks of the Ganges, also provides one with the ability to partake in religious dips, away from the dirty and overcrowded river banks at Rishikesh and Haridwar. One can thoroughly enjoy the peaceful environs supported by the soothing sound of the flowing river from each cottage or tent located within the property. I have attached a picture of the Ganges as viewed from the banks on the property. Our specific cottage was spacious, airy, bright, and equipped with a TV (although we never turned it on) and refrigerator. Meals were served in the dining area which had a large patio overlooking the river. Quality of food served on the premises was excellent. Hotel staff were very courteous and knowledgeable about local attractions and customs. In fact, one of them took us on a hiking trip to his village situated on the top of a mountain and explained the typical "Garhwal" life. To summarize, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Ganga vatika boutique hotel. If you plan to visit Rishikesh, stay here for an authentic spiritual experience. Do taste the authentic spanish menu and visit the temple located in the complex. I would especially recommend this hotel for solo women travellers.

Good hotel with clean rooms at excellent location. Good view of gangs river. Hotel staff and service are very good. Worth value. However charges seems to be on higher side comparative to similar hotel nearby.

We stayed in the hotel for three nights and had booked two rooms. A good hotel located in a residential area away from the hustle bustle of Rishikesh. It is not a peculiar hotel but a nice property converted into a holiday cottage. The location is near Ganga and one can walk up to the river bank and Laxman Jhula in 5 minutes. The approach road is narrow but cars and even SUVs can be taken to the hotel. Parking is in a neighboring plot and safe. The food is good and one gets personalised service. Only concern is the ongoing construction work in the neighboring plot which makes the area noisy during day time. Overall a good, quiet and peaceful place to stay in Rishikesh.

They have really good homely food and Also live classical music to listen to while you eat. The massages are also quite amazing. I got the deep tissue full body massage which really made me feel really relaxed. The view from the room is also quite spectacular. What I loved the most about this place is that it’s away from all the chaos around Ram Jhula traffic.
