The Hotel is located at a prime location adjacent to the Ganges. The view from the Room is exhilarating. The Breakfast was with varied cuisines and perfect. The Rooms were **** and span with perfect furnishings. The staff was courteous and helpful in guiding for the places to visit around Rishikesh. The Hotel has a good ambience. We shall definitely come back to enjoy Rishikesh locales.

Located near the banks of ganga river, it is a very nice property with amazing view. Rooms are clean and with nice decor. Hotel staff offered us an upgrade, which was very nice of them. Impeccable staff, very humble and great service. Would recommend this to everyone.

I stayed at Astral resort and you are showing Grand Shiva Resort Page. So first you rectify this thing and only then I can narrate the experience. I wonder if Grand Shiva and Astral are one and same? If yes i"d say the best thing is location and food.

It was a wonderful experience staying at Ganga vatika boutique hotel. If you plan to visit Rishikesh, stay here for an authentic spiritual experience. Do taste the authentic spanish menu and visit the temple located in the complex. I would especially recommend this hotel for solo women travellers.

Location is on a busy street but I guess all hotels are there on that street. But it's a clean hotel. Rooms are nice and big and open. There is a view of Ganga from room .. Triveni ghat is walking distance. Staff is very helpful and courteous ...

Highly remote location. Very difficult to reach the place with no directions. Dinner was not served. Probably served late night after we went to sleep. Next morning explored the location. We had breakfast, rested for a while and left the place. There was no parking space. The manager seemed to be unsympathetic to the conditions. Recommended to reach the place before sunset else you will face the acute discomfort of searching the resort.

Everything was good but need to improve the food !! Ambience and location were A Grade! They give a lot of complimentary services, what was a great gesture by any hotel. They have a traditional welcoming culture which was heart warming.

Great property, amazing service and food and superb spa. Went for a quick 3 night retreat, and stayed in a deluxe valley view room. Room was on the smaller side but very comfortable, food amazing, although not satvic/ ayurvedic and on the expensive side. We did the yoga, meditation and gym classes. Spa services were really good, especially the Ananda Touch massage. All in all a wonderful stay, albeit quite expensive. The service was the most outstanding part of this stay, the entire staff is extremely warm and caring and they give this place a warm touch. Would've preferred some more advanced yoga but I understand it is a spa. Will definitely be back!

Extremely untidy rooms, non helpful staff. They provide the smallest room for online bookings whose bed and bathroom seem never washed for months. Completely stay away if you are travelling with family. Only advantage is location

The Glasshouse on the Ganges is the perfect place to combine religious and pleasure travel. The property's proximity to all the religious hubs including Haridwar, Rishikesh, Devprayag etc. Makes it very easy for travelers who wish to fulfill their religious travel aspirations to establish this as a base. The property's unique location, right on the banks of the Ganges, also provides one with the ability to partake in religious dips, away from the dirty and overcrowded river banks at Rishikesh and Haridwar. One can thoroughly enjoy the peaceful environs supported by the soothing sound of the flowing river from each cottage or tent located within the property. I have attached a picture of the Ganges as viewed from the banks on the property. Our specific cottage was spacious, airy, bright, and equipped with a TV (although we never turned it on) and refrigerator. Meals were served in the dining area which had a large patio overlooking the river. Quality of food served on the premises was excellent. Hotel staff were very courteous and knowledgeable about local attractions and customs. In fact, one of them took us on a hiking trip to his village situated on the top of a mountain and explained the typical "Garhwal" life. To summarize, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely come back.
