Taj Chandigarh

Certainly a pleasant experience ! They upgraded us to junior suite without any request, clean , spacious room with extra bed (not just a mattress) set up as requested. (I do wish the window was of full length and not just half from the top - the view was quite nice! ) Washroom is tidy, had almost every necessary item available, although a bit cramped compared to other 5-star stays (The Leela, Taj Bengaluru , etc) we have had. There was no bubble bath / bath bomb near bathtub as well. (These are all minor issues and I’m just mentioning scope of improvement). We also had dinner at Dera - excellent venue for our small celebration! Chef came and met us and was open to suggestions+ curating the food to our liking. Breakfast was quite good, although chhole bhature had some extra salt in it , wish there was an option to have the same options with lower salt. Staff was as gracious as ever - setting it apart from other Taj Chandigarhs easily! Btw we left our purse near the breakfast area and received it safe after an hour once we went back looking for it - all safe there! Kudos to the integrity of the team! :) Looking forward to more stays with you in future and see the improvements! :)

Our stay was overall pleasant — my kids really enjoyed it, and we had a comfortable time together. The property’s location is beautiful and peaceful, true to what one would expect from Taj’s signature charm. That said, based on my prior experiences with Taj (a brand very close to my heart and one I always vouch for), this visit felt a bit average compared to the usual standards. The property seems a little dated, and the room sizes and facilities didn’t quite do justice to the category and expectations typically associated with Taj. The food was average too — decent, but not quite at the level of taste we’ve experienced at other Taj properties. While the staff were polite and courteous, the overall experience could benefit from a bit of refresh — particularly in terms of upkeep, in-room amenities, and dining variety — to match the warmth and luxury that Taj is known for. Still, grateful for the hospitality and the memories we made as a family. Looking forward to visiting again, hopefully with a more elevated experience next time.

A Wonderful Experience The food was so delicious. The room was comfortable and luxurious. Specialy the guy who was singing at the time dinner was great voice and sing so well. staff were very polite. I had the pleasure of dining at this establishment, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, with each dish carefully prepared and full of flavor. The room itself was both comfortable and luxurious, providing a perfect setting for a relaxing evening. A particular highlight was the live music—there was a gentleman singing during dinner, and his voice was incredible. His performance added a special touch to the ambiance and made the experience even more memorable. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a comfortable atmosphere, and outstanding service.

Had an awesome stay at the Taj Chandigarh. Great ambience and very well located in the heart of the city. The best thing about the stay was the warmth and going the extra mile attitude of the staff. The Duty Manager Lalita and reception staff Mansi went out of the way to make our stay super comfortable and filled with great memories :)

Perfect location and very near to the sector 17 market, rose garden. Good food and excellent services. Lavish menu for the breakfast.
