property was not good waste of money. also food options are limited in breakfast as well as dinner.

Pathetic, rooms are filthy, looks like a railway station retiring room. Corporate booking should not be done

It was comfortable food is good but they need to work on linen.. I did not find it very clean ..breakfast is great n their hospitality is excellent ..

Bath room are not cleaned. Door was unable to close. And not worth for the money which we paid. Can't suggest to anyone

Rooms need deep cleaning. Rooms and overall hotel structure need renovation. Bath tub was loose. Beds should have non-mattresses options.

Stayed at Shivalik View, Chandigarh. Rooms were nice,, but breakfast started weak and only got okay by day two. And yeah, they turned twenty-rupee water into a luxury good... one fifty? Come on. Solid three out of five.

Location is prime. Food is fairly good and costly. Rooms are not well maintained.

staff insufficient... room size big but service very bad..curtain very dirty bathroom is very old... towel bed all old... reception does not take phone.... all are horrible...

The stay was not upto the mark. The rooms were very old. Paint ,furniture , decor was quite old.The refrigerator was just scrachy. Washroom was low maintained.Food was okay.The ground level of the hotel was maintained. We were staying at 2 floor corridors were shabby and paint was coming out of walls(corridor).The toilerties used were of low quality.

Pros : 1. Food was OK. Not bad 2. Location. 3. Staff was responsible and good. Cons: 1. Cleanliness was average. 2. They used wall tiles on bathroom floor - you can easily slip and break your bones. 3. Pool wasn't clean 4. It's not a 4 star hotel. Standard is a bit lower than 3 star. 5. You have to ask for any service you want. They don't give/provide any service/item on their own.

My stay at Hotel Shivalik View Chandigarh was ok. The hotel needs maintenance badly. The staff at the reception is typically couldn't careless. Staff at the restaurant cloud9 is very good. The MMT promised 20% discount on F&B was only given on Food and not on beverages.

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service in where we had dinner. Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The property is located in the main town area with all popular destinations nearby. Food is good but entire property demands reburishment, the hotel is under staffed. Service is pathetic. It's surviving on marriage functions. It's under Government control so you cannot expect anything happening in the near future.

Been there twice now and both times it was great breakfast is good , staff is amazing and location is wonderful Although laundry charges were too high but overall experience was amazing

Good location in the center of the city. Food quality is good.Staff is hospitable and wellcoming.However room fixtures like TV requires better maintenance. Washrooms are poorly maintained. Kitchen and restaurant staff deserve special mention.
