British County Resorts

We stayed with family and booked 2 deluxe rooms. But we were given both the rooms at a location where the room in front was just like a storage room which was always open with a foul smell and disturbances. The curtains were very dirty in both rooms.I have to contact reception two times because the key were not working every time we use after locking the doors. It was very irritating then I have to take the master key from the manager for no inconvenience further. Then he replaced it with a new key after some time.

I was in British County for 2N3D with my family. Our stay was pleasant and welcoming.  Room Size: We got the premium room, which was quite spacious. All rooms have balcony, and the size differs with the type of room. The view from the balcony was towards the hills and it's breath-taking. Green and serene.  Staff: We were greeted at the reception by Arun, who was quite hospitable and welcoming.  He helped us to arrange a cab for the city tour. The restaurant serves great food- Deepak Singh as the chef made every food special- they have a variety of delicacies and everything tastes great.  Vishnu, as restaurant manager, is very helpful. He was patient with the ordering and would suggest us if we wanted recommendations.  Breakfast spread is good- covers most of the cuisine to cater to the tourists.  Overall, great stay and would recommend it to tourists coming into Munnar. 

We stayed at British County Resort during our Munnar trip — the location and view from the balcony are absolutely stunning, probably one of the best in the area. You can sit for hours just admiring the beautiful mountain scenery and the peaceful atmosphere around. The rooms are simple, more like a standard hotel than a luxury resort, but they’re decent and clean enough for a comfortable stay. However, the big letdown was the restaurant experience. Breakfast was quite average with very limited vegetarian options, and whatever was available in veg wasn’t great in taste or quality. When we asked for vegetarian items, the staff seemed a bit unhappy or stressed to help — not rude, but clearly not motivated. The restaurant itself has a lovely view, but sadly, the food doesn’t match it. In short, this is a place to stay only for the views and peaceful surroundings. If you’re particular about good food or warm service, you might feel disappointed. With better training and more attention to their F&B team, this could easily become one of the best places in Munnar.

Good rooms and nice ambience especially in valley view.Also have good breakfast.But parking space is low and swimming pool access is on bottom which can't go by lift.

Rooms were Not clean. We haven’t receive a-warm welcome. Not worth for the cost. Swimming pool having bad smell

Over all a very nice experience. We took the luxury valley view room and the view was amazing. Room was very spacious and clean . The staff and service was good too. The restaurant service provided was also good - buffet breakfast was quite decent and the food other wise for lunch and dinner were tasty and justified to pricing

View from the room was nice. Room service was not upto the level. Person in the reception during night hours were not so friendly. Whenever we call for something post 9 pm he doesn't acknowledge rather cuts the call abruptly. Breakfast buffet was decent not sure about other meals as I haven't tried in the hotel. Parking could have been better. We took a van but the parking space provided has an name board arch so our van couldn't fit in. Swimming pool was good but it's 3-4 level below is the drawback not everyone can go down and post swimming can come up. Surprisingly some of the amenities like dental kit and Toiletries were not provided by default we had to call and ask for it. Whenever we ask for water they give only one bottle. If they can provide one more extra could have been manageable. Bathroom maintenance could have been better. But television in the room was provided with most of the options to sit and enjoy (haven't experienced that in many star hotels). Overall a decent stay with some improvements could nail it.

The rooms are spacious and have breathtaking views. The picture here doesnot do justice with what the place offers.

my rooms main door lock not working properly when I tell this issue to the manager he said no problem nothing to afraid here and he also didn't change my room also...I stay with my wife in that room that night...very rude behaviour ...I stay in many hotels but I didn't see this kind of approach from any hotel...if you are going with your family you are in the safe hands go on...

The hotel is described as 4 star but we got 5 Star services here. Firstly, we got such a pleasant view from balcony. Then, they took care of all our requests and resolved all issues asap with politeness and smile. The manager Bivin even arranged vehicle and cake for us at such a short notice. The food service at their restaurant could have been quicker and better but still a very memorable stay for us. Highly recommended.

The stay was excellent.The room was very clean.Washroom was clean and good.The foodat B/F, Lunch and Dinner was very tasty .Service was excellent.Manager Arun Johnny was a surprise perk of this stay.He helped us in every demand with a smile.He arranged birthday celebration of my cousin at a very short notice.Overall a stay to remember for a long time.

Room was clean and tidy with beautiful scenic view. Room service and restraunts service was also upto the mark. Food was average could be better

my experience was far from pleasant. While the room was neat and clean, the electricity situation was a nightmare. Power kept coming and going throughout the entire day, making it incredibly inconvenient and uncomfortable. This kind of issue completely overshadowed the otherwise good aspects of the stay. I hope the management addresses this problem for future guests.

The property is located very close to anachal, a small town near munnar. You get autos and jeeps to travel to the nearby spots. The property is excellent, with valley facing rooms. The amenities are good and service is commendable. Overall, had a great stay and i plan to visit again soon. Breakfast service is also good.

Queit. Peaceful l stay and excellent veiw of mountains and valleys. Enjoyed staying here.
