Blackberry Hills Retreat and Spa

Could not have wished for a better honeymoon trip :) It was indeed a wonderful experience for us. The room was spacious and cosy, had an amazing mountain view. The ambiance was unparalleled: To be surrounded by mountains, in the lap of nature. The restaurant had a variety of cuisines, and everything on the menu was delicious. Lastly, the staff was extremely polite and helpful. Overall, it was a memorable experience for us and we look forward to revisit the destination again :)

I had checked details of Blackberry Resorts through MakeMyTrip and Google a number of times. I found the stay very much interesting with Tea Valley view stay, Campfire and trekking. Food and Stay was amazing as all the staff of the hotel took great care and support during our stay. I wish the Hotel team all the very best.

not meant for old people. too many stairs and walking .... they have buggy tbough ...receotion on the top...resturant way down ...buggy cant go....u have to do room service if u cant do too many stairs .. internet connections not very good ...service is average ..keep forgetting things ...

Excellent Views and Friendly Staff. We have availed their services of Morning Yoga and Shola Trek and we enjoyed a lot. Food is tasty too. It's 4.5/5 for me. A feedback for improvement is that the restaurant serving staff needs a little bit of training

Don’t book the resort if you can’t climb stairs. Not recommended for aged travelers. The buggy only goes till one place after which most rooms except the top variants have to go down hill and walk down atleast 70-80 steps. Some of the higher category rooms have an excellent view. I booked this hotel for my family. Before booking I had called them to ensure the buggy takes me to the room. Only after confirming with the hotel that the family villa is an ideal choice and the buggy goes uptil there as my father has arthritis, the hotel staff compelled me to upgrade my room so that he has to walk lesser. I showed them the chat confirming that I had a conversation with a hotel staff, despite which they charged me extra and because I had no option but to stay here!!!! The food is also very avg and the service is very poor. The only good things about the hotel is its view. Rest everything is not good

STAY WITH MY FAMILY THE GREAT SERVICE ON ALL STAFF AND VERY CLEAN THE RESORT, THE FOOD IS VERY TASTEY . MY FAMILY PEACEFUL AND ENJOY THE CLIMET WITH RESORT.

Excellent stay, food, and service. Nice viewpoints, and the staff were very polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and I was especially impressed by the staff's smiling faces.

The good was good along with all the working staff, however the resort has electricity issues and power cut. They have to fix the power cut problem.

Location of the Resort is amazing, we felt being connected with nature all the time. Rooms are clean, big and still holds the rustic look with modern amanities. View from balcony is eyesome. The best part is, You will hear sound of singing birds and rumbling leaves of trees around all the time. The walkway from the room to their restaurant is so beautiful. Pool is good as well. Food is tasty,service is great plus lots of veg options at Hornbill Restaurant. They arranged day trips, Trekking, Yoga session, Tea tasting session, Bonefire, Spa session at SISAL spa. They surprised us with flower bed and Cake for Birthday celebration during our stay. This well-maintained resort has very efficient staff. Would like to mention a few names here who made our stay at this property best in all the ways. Mr Akshay & Mr Lijo at frontdesk always ready to help the guests, Mr Ashutosh & Ms Geethu at Sisal spa are professional and trained. Ms Ankita at Restaurant takes very good care of guests. And Mr Arun's tea tasting session was very informative.

The property is not at all good for elderly people. The rooms are very far from the reception. They take you to a place in a special vehicle and from there you have to use the stairs, which is very difficult for persons having knee problems, heart problems etc. The cost is high compared to the facilities. Restaurant is OK. The main advantage is location, which is very good.

We had stayed in Black Berry Hills in 2006 and for our second visit to Munnar, we couldn't think of any other stay. They were ultimate then and now, they have bettered it. Courteous staff, wonderful rooms, great food and awesome location. It was the first time for my kids, 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son. They didn't want to leave the place just like us, 19 years back! They came together to celebrate our return with a cake cutting and even when we left, they came together to wish us good bye. Very homely people. Not many can maintain high standards for such a long time. Hats off!

Right from the reception till the checkout, the experience was very nice, and all the staff was very courteous & helpful. Food was very good. The rooms are Beautifully and thoughtfully crafted with scenic views. It was a wonderful experience.

The location of the property is superb (near the main market) and mesmerizing view. Great place to chill and relax. Amazing room, space and good food. Bit pricey but overall a very good experience. The resort completely supports an eco friendly atmosphere and each and every detail of the resort will reflect the eco friendly spirit.
