Stayed at Monkey Tribe Hostel in Munnar and had a really good experience. It is a great place for bachelors and groups of friends. We stayed in a 6-bed dorm room which was comfortable and gave a fun hostel vibe. � Hostelworld The hostel has a playing/common area where you can spend time, play games, and enjoy with friends. The beds were comfortable and the overall stay felt nice. It is also located close to Munnar main centre, which makes travelling easier. � Monkey Tribe The only downside is the road access — you need to walk downhill for around 1 km and climbing back up can be difficult, especially on foot. Some travelers also mention the steep approach road, so keeping a bike or auto in mind helps. �

Had a great stay at Monkey Tribe Munnar! The hospitality was amazing, and both Thappa Bhaiya and Rishika were wonderful hosts who made everyone feel like family. The games night at the Tribe was definitely the highlight of my stay—it was so much fun and a great way to connect with fellow travellers. As a woman traveller, I felt completely safe and comfortable throughout my stay. The special mangoes I received as a farewell gift will always remain a cherished memory. Thank you so much, Bhaiya, for such a beautiful gesture and for making our Munnar trip memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, friendly, and safe place to stay in Munnar!

The location is peaceful and the check-in process was smooth. Food options are limited but the taste was good and it's affordable. Only problem is it was around 0.5 km from the main road so if you hire an auto they might not be able to pull us along with luggage and will ask us to walk, walking will be a bit tough as it's very slopy for normal people. Other big issue is water, they have water supply directly from the river so water will be dirty even after leaving it running for more than 20 minutes. But affordable at that cost.

The property is nice, and the rooms are clean and well-kept. The food is good too, and the view around the place is great. All necessary amenities are there and working. But getting there is a bit of a hassle. It's too steep for rickshaws, so you might have to walk a few minutes. Scooters can make it if they're in good shape, and higher cc bikes won't have any trouble.

Firstly about the location, the view from the balcony was amazing. And the rooms were really neat and maintained well. Especially the bathrooms were in really hygienic conditions. And then the food, which I felt was really good in taste and also it was affordable, not that costly. Overall it was a really good experience for me in the monkey tribe for my two days stay.

Very nice stay experience at Monkey Tribe Munnar. The property was clean, safe, and comfortable. I was travelling solo and felt completely secure during my stay. The food was also very good. The manager, MT Thapa, was very helpful and supportive. Would definitely recommend this place.

Clean and spacious rooms, good food, fun staff, great location amid tea farms. There’s a secret waterfall a short walk away from the property which is a must visit. The view is very pretty from the property.

It was a nicely maintained beautiful hostel, they have every available sport active for playing. Food is also good and the location is quite adventurous but worth the adventure. Room and facilities were very good.
