Purple Munnar

Booked the room with hill view that cost more than the other rooms but they give me only the normal room telling the view rooms are full and doesn’t have me the refund too

It was a wonferfull stay we got there excellent service. And we enjoined a lot the whole trip was awesome

The staff was polite and helpful. The fragrance in the room was not great please improve that.

Very nice experience. Location is close to kolukkumalai. Raj is very nice person. He arranged jeep safari also for kolukkumalai trip. Overall good experience. They have restaurant also. Food was good.

Bath room cleaning not upto the standard. Room some of the lights were not working. Tv is not working properly. No glass ( for drinking water) were kept in rooms breakfast were not provided. Instead of that 500 rupees were given or 5+2 guests. Which is not enough for 5+2.

Service was very bad, multiple time approached and reminded for breakfast (complimentary, toilet doesn’t had light, location seems lodge and doesn’t have privacy in balcony

There is no bath towels available in room, telephone didnt working, didn't give drinking water and room didn't properly cleaned. Parking is limited. Only four to five vehicle can park. I didn't get parking place. These are the problems i faced in that hotel. Breakfast was good

The property is easily accessible, clean and the staff was very friendly and approachable. There are many restaurants around this property and Purple Munnar has their own food court. We had visited this food court 2nd day morning for complimentary breakfast, but the food was so good that we had our dinner and lunch as well from this place. Definitely, worth staying place.

Rates are too high in comparison to facility and location.

I went on the time of floods, I delayed my stay for one day because of blockage of roads. On requesting they extended my day for one more day without much discussion. Staff is very well behaved. View from hotel is awesome. To the point I am very much satisfied. Thanks MMT.

I booked Purple Munnar for 3 nights. On reaching the hotel at the end of a day long drive, I was shocked to learn that the hotel does not have ANY catering arrangements. For even a cup of tea I was asked to go to a shack tea stall across the road. For food I was advised to walk half a km to another small, dirty roadside restaurant. The hotel has been renovated recently and is yet to employ any catering staff/contractor. Unfortunately this is not mentioned in the website. There is no lift . I checked out the next morning, MMT helped me to get some refund. But as the information provided was false / incorrect, I should have got full refund . Please avoid Purple Munnar.

Very poor selecion. It was like a lodge and one floor is allocated for Make My Trip. This type of cheating never expected from Make My Trip. Due to road work guests can only accommodate by 5. 30 pm.
