Windale Resort is truly a wonderful property—peaceful, calm, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality; always welcoming and helpful, with genuine smiles that make the experience even more pleasant. The in-house restaurant is impressive, and since the resort is located a little away from the main town, the team ensures guests never face any inconvenience regarding food or other essentials. Our room offered a beautiful balcony view overlooking the forest and mountains, which was simply breathtaking. The room itself was cozy and well-equipped with proper woolen blankets, efficient heating, and reliable hot water. The infinity pool is an added advantage, enhancing the overall experience. Without a doubt, I will recommend Windale Resort to my family and friends whenever they plan a visit to Poopara village. A big thank you to the entire Windale team for making our stay memorable!

Property is in good location. Services are not up to the mark. Breakfast is the only thing given satisfaction. Room service and cleanliness not commendable.

I like room & ambience in this resort but one advice to hotel people kindly improve food quality tooo otherwise hotel & staff are very polite and good guidance.

We had a worthwhile 3 day stay at Windale. The staffs, especially the caretaker was very courteous and polite. Would definitely reccommend!

the place is nice but it is very very far from munnar.. The rooftop pool is nice.. food is okayish .. room is nice and spacious

I planned to stay at this resort with my family and was not completely satisfied with the whole property. first of all the location is a bit up the hill , also the property is in such a state which doesn't make it old people friendly because of heights and stairs. the property garden was not well maintained as mentioned, even the kids area was in a very untidy area. we also could notice rust on the slide. The room service was good and the best part of the resort is the infinity pool. The rooms were cleaned , but we could notice dust on some parts of the room. we felt no proper maintenance or no proper or regular checks were done. The breakfast was really good , but the lunch we ordered was average. overall the stay was just average and was not up to our expectations or up to the cost .

Tucked away from the noise of munnar on top of a hill, this property offers a great view from the room/balcony. Rooms are clean and spacious with a separate seating area. Staff is helpful and attentive. The food options in the restaurant are good enough and tasty. Overall a great place to stay if you love nature and avoid noise and crowds.

Very small room with a wall partition..no intercom landline in the room, need to call from personal mobile to reception for everything..washroom is horrible and stinks... poorly maintained.. Overpriced resort, just cashing on seasonal demand...No proper lighting even in nights.. feels like a haunted place..Definite nooo......!!!!!!!

The location was excellent, a little away from the city but that’s what made the stay that much better! the view from the hotel was just excellent! the staff was extremely caring and polite. Our every need was fulfilled with a smile. I’d definitely stay here the next time i go to munnar

I found out about wind-ale through a quick surfing over makemytrip within a pocket friendly budget. The place is well located from the huzzle buzzles of the usual tourists spots in and around poppara. The room i checked in had all basic amneties neat and clean. The person of contact for guest service was mr. Selvan whom i found really helpful and welcoming. The room had a good scenic view of the mist spread across the wide panoramic view of the hills. The food served for dinner was nice and with good flavours. Also found out that wind-ale would soon be having a pool for its vistors too. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly.

The view from the room, especially room 101 where i stayed, was lovely. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering a variety of food options that could be served in the room or enjoyed at the restaurant, all delivered punctually. This stay is ideal in winter for a better view. However, i encountered issues with both the internet and the tv unit as they were not functioning properly. The road to this property is a bit tricky.

Property was great the view, staff and service was excellent i hope i should visit again. The staff service is great.

Location is good and rooms are also very good but food was specially dinner is horrible, test is not good atall.
