ibis Edinburgh Centre South Bridge - Royal Mile

At best one can call it a dorm room with toilet, no amenities not even fork and spoon, glasses for water etc

There was no refrigerator in the room. We had traveled from Mumbai with a packet of fresh mango pulp for our daughter. They refused to keep in their deep fridge for three nights. Consequently it got spolied. I will never recommend IBIS

The hotel is centrally located and the rooms were very cosy and comfortable. We had a very late checkin and the front desk was very supportive and checked us in very quickly we had breakfast one day there. It was good the usp of this hotel is clean rooms and excellent location

No room service. No ventilation in room. Very small rooms. High prices. We requested for ventilation and opening of window. It was denied. Very difficult it was to sleep

Untidy room and lacks staff for cleaning the room. Cleaning staff don’t change the sheets and uses the same sheets.

Decent, clean hotel with basic amenities. Just not worth the price we paid (it was in peak season. Staff were helpful but don't expect the indian hospitality where we go above and beyond.

Close to waverly station, though walking with luggage might be an issue. Look for uber. Great locale. Business hotel. Nice restaurant and bar.

The hotel location is excellent with many stores and restaurants just outside and the bus station is also right outside

Worth everything. The food is excellent. Even the room service is upto mark. I suggest you to provide proper sockets at the height of 5 feet. Always bending down is a bit difficult.

Grassmarket hotel is a good budget hotel for short stays for 2-3 days. The staff was very helpful. Although we reached early, they allowed us to keep our luggage and transported the same to our room till the time we were out. They also have good tie ups with local bars and restaurants which allows customers to enjoy 10% discount. The location is about 7-10 mins walk from Royal Mile and Edinburgh Castle, as well as from Edinburgh Waverly Station. I would have given it 5 star but for the size of room I have reduced one star. The room size was bit cramp for 2 people. But since we only had to stay in the hotel for sleeping we din't mind it. If you are on budget tour and don't like bed and breakfast type hostels, this one is definitely worth it.

The location of Ibis was excellent. It was very near to Royal Mile where you will find most of the pubs, shops and restaurants. Staff of the hotel were very friendly and services were great. Room was adequate for two of us and it was very cleaned and properly maintained. Breakfast had good variety, especially for vegetarians like us. Overall the stay was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it.

The location is very convenient near to railway station surrounded by many good restaurants and pubs. Rooms are good and clean with all modern automated facilities. Breakfast is good but in my opinion same could be more expansive and with more choices.
