Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh City West

It was a good stay ,as expected, the rooms were clean, breakfast was good. near to all tourist attractions good location, public transport connectivity to downtown was easy.

Comfy beds, clean room and bath, very quiet. Slightly far away from the main city of Edinburgh, but it easily accessible by frequent buses to the city center in about 15 mins. Breakfast is ok, but not great. I feel the price is very high for this hotel. Overall, a good stay.

It is a nice property. We could take buses from the nearest bus stop to visit the main attractions. Spacious, comfortable rooms and good food. Perfect for families

It was an average property, but location was good. Rooms were big according to uk’s standards. Restaurant was average and we went for new year but there was nothing special to look forward to.

Staff is not polite. They do not want to understand. The rooms are very small so if you plan to stay for a more than a day look for a better place. The breakfast was terrible. They literally gave us disposable plates for breakfast. Not a good place.

We stayed here for 3 nights, hotel is nicely maintained and provided good breakfast in the morning. Courteous staff and situated close to bus stop so the ease of getting transport.

It was hotel Sainsbury opposite to it.

The toilet seat was broken and there was dirt outside the window. This made our view pathetic. The bus schedule given to us was also wrong.

There where no toiletries in room, we have to ask for it. Drinking water chargeable, no complimentary bottles provided though the tap water is safe to drink. Buffet breakfast has limited choice for Asian veg.

Nice value for money hotel. Ideal for a family stay. In a peaceful area with 3 departmental stores close by. Free Wi-Fi available. Transportation easily available, close to airport. Indian restaurant close by. It also gives you a room with 2 double beds for a family with small kids.
