As described in the booking, there was no safe in the room and no cupbord.. after enquiring at reception, they told me that they doesnt have any rooms with thse facilities

wouldn’t recommend at all
coupleHotel is located centrally to almost all attractions, however the room and upkeep of the hotel is very poor. The lighting inside the room makes you feel that you are in a dungeon so if you are in this hotel you can give the dungeon tour a skip. Would not recommend at all.

this is the worst hotel ever in my life after paid
couplenever book holiday inn property in Edinburgh..they transfer guests from one to another by saying room is under maintenance..their room quality is very bad ,they giv a box room of height 5.5 ft ..had very bad experience.. bathroom is lik a ✈️ s bathroom..no water ,they ask to drink tap water..room size is lik a tiny cabin with very less height.in breakfast they hav hardly options to enjoy..

The hotel staff was rude
The hotel staff was very rude. The hotel staff removed our luggage from the room without our permission. The check out time was 11 and we requested for a 30 mins late check out coz we were out and couldn't be back before 11. And they agreed to the 30mins late check out but then when we returned we saw all our luggage was thrown out without even informing us

Holiday inn at royal mile is great property in this kind of budget. Castle was 15-20 mins walk, tube connectivity was also 10 minutes walk. Near to prime locations. Room were comfortable and neat. Breakfast was OK.
