Temple Tree Resort & Spa

Location was ok but staff has done chaos as no fan in room was there and then whole housekeeping staff came to our room and then food options are also very limited lack of service and room very tiny

Location is good on the beach.Ocean view is partial due to trees.Property is very old,flooring , washroom,food quality needs lot of improvement.

The stay was pathetic. Their front office staff was so rude and arrogant. They made us pay of the meals which we did not eat. Their housekeeping entered our room twice seeing the do not disturb sign on and when complained they took no action and no reaction. F&b food was tasteless. Their hygiene in the restaurants was so bad that all one can see is flies and mosquitos all over the tables, food, plates, buffet and no one was ready to wipe the tables. We will never think about visiting this property temple tree resort again.

Nice location and beach, but rooms are not that good. Staff is good for management is not good

The service is really bad and they even charge for drinking water. Even after paying, they could not provide it quickly. For everything they said that price is decided by the management and continuously charged extra. They charged us extra for airport drop even when the booking mentioned 70usd.

Hotel room wasn’t clean and well maintained ! no privacy in the bathroom as no blinds on the glass of the bathroom enclosure glass ! restaurant very dull and off smell within the dining area ! the only positive was that it was a sea view ! although staff was polite

Very beautiful place and nicely located. Amazing staffs. Only suggestion is that trees are blocking sea view. Overall best place to spend days and weeks.

Very bad experience, hotel was for quarantine people. Hotel people didn't informed us and asked us to stay in room as a prisoner. Pathetic food and service

It is a good hotel with great location, beach is just opposite from the room. Rooms are small but neat and clean.

Me and my husband celebrated our anniversary at this hotel. We had the most amazing stay. The staff is super friendly and we experienced one of finest hospitality. Would love to stay again and recommend to all for sure

1) Rooms- Size of the room and bathroom is pretty small as compared to other hotels in Sri Lanka. Especially bathroom where you don't have a separate wash (basin) counter. I found couple of small cockroaches in my bathroom post the sanitized tag. 2) not exactly an ocean view- The images provided by hotel is a deception of actual property. I spent extra for ocean view room but a) It's little far from beach. b) The view is all covered from trees, you literally get at the end is garden view. Service in what world, mini bar means empty fridge? On special request of an item they will send it to your room that to only till 10 pm. You call them post 10 pm, everything is closed they can't even serve a cold drink. Isn't it mini bar concept is to have anything anytime. At breakfast, I picked up an extra muffin and couldn't finish it. I picked it up to carry with me as I didn't want it to get wasted, but they didn't allow. As per hotel rules it's okay to waste food than carry with you. That too for a muffin. I haven't seen anything like that in rest of hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka. Lobby and swimming pool area both are smaller than what you see in pictures.

Nothing to do Around the place, did not cancel my booking. Since the hotel was empty, had to move out. Went paradise Road, the villa. Which accepted modifications in the booking dates.

Hotel is at a good Silent location. Good part is that all rooms are Beach facing try to get on a upper floor for a better view. If you are going first time then do take a cab or auto for Bentota Beach sports area also on way is turtle hatchery. My suggestion is, as a Spa hotel, they should work on better toiletries. All in all a good hotel away from crowded beaches and market.

Amazingly view. But the building exterior could have been better. The building looks half done. Other than this everything was perfect. The room was nice, but no good toiletries. Overall I loved my stay.

Location of the resort is absolutely breathtaking, food is nice, hotel staff is friendly and caring, pools are kept clean, if you ever visit bentota, do stay here.
An awesome ocean view, nice and clean rooms, in all a great stay.
