Thaala Bentota

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Thaala Bentota Resort! The location is unbeatable—perfectly nestled between the golden beaches of Bentota and the lush greenery of the surrounding area. Waking up to the sound of the ocean and being just steps away from the beach made the experience truly special. What really stood out, though, was the exceptional staff. Every team member we encountered was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay as comfortable as possible. From check-in to departure, the service was seamless and always delivered with a smile. The rooms were spacious, beautifully maintained, and well-appointed, combining modern comfort with local charm. We especially appreciated the little details and the cleanliness throughout. Overall, Thaala Bentota Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. Whether you're looking for a peaceful retreat or a beachside getaway, this is the perfect place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended!

Good location, clean room, excellent service, value for money. kitchen " Breeze " needs to be improved. I guess they are using pamolin oil butter, which is very unhealthy, need to be replaced with milk butter. Veg and nonveg should be placed differently to avoid confusion. Food quality needs to be improved. value for money.

Had a wonderful stay at Thaala Bentota with my family. The location is unbeatable right by a beautiful, quiet stretch of beach. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Loved the pool, the food, and the relaxed vibe overall. Perfect for a peaceful family getaway.

It was a good stay overall .. we got a good room on the first floor upon request and I thank Indunil for it. Staff was good especially Isuru. Place is close to a beach and near activities around river. Pool is clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good too.

Thaala Bentota was good, Room is quitebig and comfortable, The property is so beautiful, Amazing staff, Very close to beach and lot of vegetarian options. Itis also very close to Diyakuwa water sports.

Thaal Bentota had a great location, beach side. The food was great too and had an Indian menu section. We tried spring rolls and chilli paneer and it was great. Overall great stay and beautiful rooms!

Excellent stay at Thala Bentota.From the welcome performance, welcome drinks ,the room ,the view ,the pool to the minute walk to the beautiful beach ..everything was perfect. Recommend it 10/10

Food was good… we ordered indian food and the staff made exactly what we asked for, rooms are amazing, staff is very polite and welcoming. Walkinf distance from station if someone takes train.

Best part of the Thaala Bentota is it is just next to the beach. From each room beach view is amazing. Food is good .rooms are spacious, big bathrooms. Staff is very polite and helpful.
