Cinnamon Bentota Beach - Signature Selection

We had a great stay at Cinnamon Bentota Beach Resort. The property is beautifully designed and very well maintained. Rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff were polite, attentive, and always cheerful. The beach access and peaceful surroundings made our stay truly relaxing. Breakfast was average but everything else exceeded expectations. The farewell song by the staff at departure was a beautiful and heartwarming gesture that made the stay even more special. Highly recommend this resort for a memorable Bentota experience! 🌴🎶

This is an excellent property. My family loved the service provided by the resort. There are a lot of amenities to keep everyone occupied (including kids for whom there is a dedicated play club). They provided one of the best breakfast spreads I have had in a long time. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Highly recommend this property.

Best resort and best food

wonderful place for family stay with all facilities, I recommend this place for everyone, all country foods are available excellent service and support by staffs

The experience was so good that we came back to stay another day we had booked Riu for 3 days but it was nothing compared to cinnamon bey .

Hai we are stayed recently with my family, it was worst experience in my life, even though it will come under star category for that reason only i was booked almost $ charged, staffs behaviour was rude & only reason was less manpower they are running their resort, so non cooperative staffs, it’s unworthy to choose this property

Cinnamon Bentota Beach resort was a tough property to manage. They commit stuff. However, don't stick to any of their commitments. whatever they acknowledge on paper nothing is kept up Hotel property - 5 / 5 House keeping - (-)3 /5 In room dining - (−) 1 /5 Promises kept - 0/5 So for small things like layout of bed/ ground floor access / locker in room / glasses and mugs need to call 20 times and after 4 hours u will receive ure Half order. I would never come back to this place, there are many better options available here.

Property is very good but service is very slow and staff is very untrained. They took 2 hours to check us in cause they couldn’t find my booking. Then they asked us to have the expensive lunch buffet while we wait and then it closed 30 mins after we started eating. After all this they couldn’t still find booking for an hour and when they finally gave the room the bathrooms wasn’t cleaned from prior use. My father got shock from using the adapter they gave. When staff was informed of this they stopped picking up calls from room phone. When i complained manager came got the bathroom cleaned but this was the next day. for the 30 mins it lunch buffet on the first day. Overall property made up for the bad service and hence the 3 stars but if not i would have given it 1 for the service i received compared to the amount the paid.

The property is huge but no signs where is what. Looks like a old time jail. The staff is also not that helpful. Indian menu and veg food option bare minimum in both alacarte and buffet. Room service takes ages. Pool is big but was not that maintained. Near beach but a dead beach no activity no shacks. Water sports in the property are way above expensive.

The service and property are amazing. It falls in between the beach and bentota river, giving it a great scenic exposure. The sea view rooms were a little let down due to obstructing palm trees. Their buffet is a thing to try out.
