Good hotel with a good view

We had economy rooms, kyrol dhoju promptly provided us with sunrise room and Moonrise rooms. These were both mountain view rooms. We arrived at around 10:30 pm. Warm food was provided to us. The behavior and helpful attitude of the staff is awesome. As we were comfortable in our rooms, we set to plan for our next day travels. Early morning at around 5 am we were greeted by the Langtang Jugal range of mountains and Manaslu range. The view from our bed and balcony was amazing. We went to the terrace to have free buffet breakfast and take some awesome clicks of the mountains. We did have a lovely conversation with the other guests from other countries. The breakfast spread included fruits, bread. Omelet, Poch, potato, and veggies. Boiled veggies like cauliflower. Pancakes, tea, coffee, honey, butter, milk, cornflakes, etc. The cons of the place the approaches road is pathetic, No cable tv in rooms, No tv in rooms, No intercom in rooms, Bathroom fittings like flush are troublesome, Bed linen are a bit damp. Bathroom toiletries are not up to the mark, Parking space is unsecured and improper, Not enough lighting on compound. Pros: Excellent view of mountains. Excellent breakfast. Excellent staff behavior. Prompt service of staff and manager. The terrace is a wonderful place to meet and greet. Free wifi all around This Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont is right on top of the mountain. No other Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont has views like. This place. I am quite happy with my stay.

The rooms are huge with a big balcony. The cafe is situated at a beautiful height with a view. It has been maintained well but the roads leading to the Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont is still under construction, so reaching the Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont during night is a bit of a problem. Otherwise the Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont is perfect to spend a weekend getaway from kathmandu.

Overwhelmed by the hospitality of manager Caron and staff Laxman ... Excellent view of valley .. Be careful not to book economic room as it does not look like a Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont room .. The other room type is good and has valley view too.
Panoramic views of the Himalayas

Wonderful stay amidst the pine forest and clouds. Staff was cooperative and friendly. Fortunately we could See the panoramic view of the mountains and the Kathmandu Valley. View from rooms were great. Preferably the standard rooms.

Nice Peaceful Cottage & Cafe du Mont stay with Nice and humble staff, especially Ms subi, worth stay in market nearby. Nice food specially break fast .
