Goldsands Hotel Langkawi

Property is very clean and good. Rooms are very big size, beds are comfortable. Breakfast buffet is good, may be should include more indian cuisine to menu. Infinity pool is superb with views. Overall we had great experience.

Breakfast was not good. Rooms were clean but food was not upto the mark. Amenities were ok ok nothing too great. Service was slow but not bad

The property was nice but a bit old. The lift wasn’t working properly. Staff was friendly, and the rooms were spacious. The washroom looked surprisingly good, though there was some water noise. AC worked well

Restaurant of this hotel has a very bad service. Restaurant staff is arrogant and will turn off the ac at 10am as the breakfast is from 7am to 10am. Even though if you are eating they won’t care. Also they will start picking up the plates without your permission. Additionally, the restaurant at rooftop is more horrible. We ordered food and waited for 45mins. When asked about the order, they were clueless what we ordered. They did not even punch the order in the system and we asked to cancel and ran out to get food at 10:30pm. Also, the rooftop restaurant is supposed to provide drinking water refill without any cost. On the first day they provided us water, on the second day they asked for 2myr for water refill which is unacceptable. Awful service.

One of the worst hotel experience of my life, AC not working, dirty rooms, Lift not working had to climb 5 floors to reach my room, did not shift me to another room with AC. Will never recommend this to anyone in my life

Such an amazing property in Langkawi. I would definitely recommend to stay here. Worth the money with the view and swimming pool.

Pros: - Room and bathroom very spacious. - The pool at the terrace is very good - There is a bath tub in the toilet. - Night market is just in front of the hotel. - A lot of shops all within walking distance. - Very near to Eagle Jetty, Maha Tower and duty free shops - Parking available at the hotel. Cons: - There is lot of water wastage here as we need to leave around 3-4 buckets of water to get hot water. - Hotel staff id very slow, when we reached hotel at 3 pm (checkin time), they claimed that room was not ready and took 30 more mins. They are slow in processing things - Breakfast starts at 7am but the food was not fully ready by then. All food are ready by 8am.

Good hotel location wise. Near the market and you can get anything anytime. Excellent breakfast buffet. Courteous staff. Only issue was that the pool was not clean. They should maintain it more.
