im not one for leaving negative reviews but i have to tell other people about this place -Breakfast is terrible. go out and buy it instead unless you want bread/tiny crossiants/ milk that was off or an apple for breakfast -they didnt change the bed sheets the whole 4 night trip, my friend spilt some wine on her bed covers and it was still there making a stain by the last night -the phone was broke in the room so we couldn't call reception -the fridge had a cardboard cover over the seemingly broken door and did nothing to keep anything cold -the aircon didnt work. granted we went in May so it wasnt boiling but it was still warm at night and we had no way of cooling down because.. -if you leave the window open, expect not to sleep well. on friday night we had thumping bass music playing until 4am. The windows are shutter and then glass that you put over but they didn't lock, you just pushed them shut and hope for the best -be careful when leaving your room as you really have to yank the door shut or you can literally push it back open and walk in -my friend got locked in the bathroom twice. so dont lock the bathroom door -there are no complimentary toiletries so you have to take your own -The hotel staff dont let you leave the hotel with your key, you have to give it to reception. One night we came back at just after 1am and the main lobby door was bolted shut with a lock. we had to ring a doorbell to get into our own hotel to then collect the key to get to the room we paid for. -they charged my friends credit card without asking her. We were told when we booked the hotel that it was pay on arrival. So when we turned up they gave us a receipt and our key and we assumed we paid when we left. so they morning we left we went down with all the money. and the ever so rude reception staff member told us to pay the city tax and that was it.. When we asked him about the rest of the money he just looked at us and said 'its 48 euros what do you not understand' so we paid him the tax and when my friend checked her credit card statement of the card we made the booking with. they had charged the whole cost to her credit card and it said a signature had been collected even though they didnt once ask for her signature or physically look at her credit card once. they just took the money from her without telling us. stay somewhere else basically.

Good location and very kind st....

Location was great, close to the train station and metro, plenty of decent restaurants and bars within walking distance, and while not in the main tourist areas it's fairly central to the neighbourhoods you're likely to want to visit. The staff were also very nice, and the outside and lobby of the hotel are well presented. However we (my mum and I) were initially given a "double" room that had no space to walk around the bed, the bathroom was so small that it was impossible to shower without flooding it, and the sliding door to the bathroom would basically slide right off, threatening to squish the person attempting to operate it. Also very old and questionably clean carpet, no covers on many of the lights and electrical fittings, just generally run down and poorly maintained. On the plus side: the gentleman (George) on reception was very kind and helpful, and moved us to a triple room for the other two nights of our stay. This was much more spacious and in better condition. Still very basic, but comfortable.

Fine - did the job

It would be easy to leave a negative review of this hotel as it’s in a rough neighbourhood, the hotel is basic and needs modernised and I felt the rooms could be a bit more polished. But it’s near Termini station, walking distance to colleseum, Spanish steps etc, staff were friendly and helpful and able to answer our questions, book airport taxi etc. Although the area can be described as rough I never felt unsafe and we were a group of 3 females. It is a bit noisy at night outside. Probably wouldn’t recommend for families. There is 24 hour reception. If staying here check out the il centrale mercato for food and drinks inside Termini station. We had no issues in staying here and if your going to Rome you won’t be spending a lot of time in your room anyway.

Great location

Okay hotel for one person. Extremely close to the terminal and made traveling very easy. Not bad for a place to just sleep and go. Stayed here for 4 nights, and was happy I did! Water is not always hot when you take a shower. Also rooms were extremely small specially the shower, I kept banging into the shower doors, but you get what you paid for. The front desk was extremely nice and knowledgeable, specially the gentleman who works morning. Overall, recommend to travelers on a budget.

Will never come back

The room was not clean. Staff not service-minded at all. Breakfast poor and neighborhood quite rough. Very thin walls - we stayed at fifth floor and could hear guests talking on second floor... Would definitely NOT recommend.
