Awesome for the price.
It is a nice small hotel with a nice design and, for me, well located, in a quiet street.
Staff was friendly, and the hotel was very clean.
Room has a comfortable bed, good size showe and the AC worked well.
Will be back for sure.

It was a really good hotel. Clean and tidy. The rooms were small but it was just perfect considering the money and the days we stayed. Really friendly stuff. Poor breakfast. Nice location, near the center

Very nice hotel
Very nice hotel, I really enjoyed my visit here, last August. Room was clean and cosy. Very important that hotel is located on the quiet street.
The price was good. The owners and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ok, not varied enough, nonetheless I really recommend.

Perfect for a short stay in Ro....
I recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Rome, it was perfect for a short city break and was only 4 metro stops away from the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum as well as many other attractions. Even though Wi-fi was free it didn't work well. Very little connection. It was very charming with the beautiful stair case and the big wooden doors. If you will visit this hotel, you won't be disappointed. One concern only is related to the hotel surrounding area which in the evening is not very well illuminated.

Visit Rome with my family
My family and I took recently a four days vacation to Rome, and we choose the Novecento hotel: acceptable as price versus quality. The hotel is easy to arrive to from bus station, the Metro is partially closed by September 3rd. We've stayed in room 405, nice and tidy, with separate area for the child's bed, and enough space, comfortable and clean beds.
The hotel has the own elevator and the breakfast is included: not very diversified, only one type of cheese and ham, no eggs or meat. Also, limited fruits or cereals.
The receptionist was very friendly and responsive, they have recommended a good italian restaurant near by, called Mamma Mia, which i also recommend!
The hotel staff also allowed us to deposit the luggage for free in our last day, after checked out, while we visited more for couple of hours.
The hotel is close enough for walking to Coloseum and Roman fort, as well as the bus station for Piazza Spagna or Venezia.
One concern only is related to the hotel surrounding areal which in the night is not very well illuminated or safety...and one evening when returning from lunch by walking with my son and husband, at around 9 pm, I was literally attacked by a black person who tried to stole my tiny gold necklace. The necklace got broken but remained with me, while the attacker run away since he failed to rob it. Luckily we were not brutalized, but scared. No-one was around to help us and was a pretty dark area.
Also, it looks like the street sidewalks are used by night by homeless people, as these are very dirty, very smelly....so I wouldn't recommend anyone to walk at evening in this area, is too dangerous! :(
