Rough area but nice hotel
On check in, the manager was super nice, his English was good too. After one night, our room had a weird odour and we complained and were upgraded to a really nice room with a huge terrace. The area seemed a bit shady, but they had locked gates and security. We took the tram to most places and the stop is close by. The ride from the airport was far, therefore the expense was high. Overall, for the price, it was not bad. Nice breakfast and nice staff.

It's all about the hospitality
Following the wonderful hospitality and pleasant stay we had back in 2016 it was an easy decision as to where to stay on our recent visit to Rome. As soon as we walked in the door of the hotel we received a friendly welcome and an easy check-in, because our room was not ready we were prompted to take a seat in the lounge area and offered a drink to pass the next hour. Off to a great start.
I booked our room through the hotel's website well in-advance putting in a request for a particular room, unfortunately this could not be fulfilled and we were allocated a room on the ground floor facing onto the inner courtyard. While the room was nice and clean, the bathroom was narrow and had not been modernised, not as pleasing on the eye as our previous room on a higher floor. At night you could hear everyone's room door being slammed shut, fortunately by closing the window and turning on the air-con we could minimise the sound. The bed was firm but the pillows were extremely thin not for our liking.
Each morning we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, there was plenty to choose from, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, pastries, boiled eggs. cheese and cold meats. We also enjoyed each morning being asked what type of coffee we would like, which was then made and brought to our table.
For us the location of the hotel is not a problem, while not centrally located there is a tram a short walk away from the hotel or walk 20 minutes to Termini or Manzoni metro. We thoroughly enjoyed happy hour each night at the hotel before heading out to a local restaurant/pizzeria/gelateria: San Lollo, i Fratelli, Gelato San Lorenzo.
Special thanks to Antonio on reception who made our stay special and for the extra attention after checking-out while waiting to leave for the airport.

Loved it! Room was so cute and....
We were in Room no. 212 and stayed here for 4 nights.
We walked from Roma Termini railway station to the hotel at 10:30 pm and it was totally safe.
Very friendly and helpful staff. He guided us on how to commute, nearest tram stations, visit the tourist attractions and handed a map.
Check-in was easy and our room was delightful. Our room faced a little courtyard. It was very nice and quiet room. Breakfast was included and was served between 7:30 am to 10 am. I loved their cappuccinos.
Please note that at night they close the gates after 12 midnight and they buzz you in if you arrive after that.
At checkout, you pay the city tax 4 euros/pp/day and they accept the card for payments. We used their cab service to get to the airport. It was 50 euros, very convenient.
Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Rome.

My boyfriend and I stayed here 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We were welcomed with a smile (something we found unusual in Rome) . The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a lot of questions and they were so patient and gracious with us. Our room was beautiful with a balcony facing the entrance of the hotel. There is a lovely seating area in the lobby and a cute bar (pretty generous amounts of liquor in your glass ;) ) The breakfast is included and is pretty decent (lots of croissants and yummy pastries ). If you want a local restaurant you can walk to la trattoriola di Luca which has the best pasta carbonara among other things . There is a supermarket right next door if you need. You can catch a bus/tram pretty close by. It’s also close walking distance to all the bars if you’re into nightlife. We had the best time here and would recommend to anyone .
