Quiet and cosy
We stayed for one night with friends for the football match semifinal AS Roma - Liverpool and were pleased with the service and friendly staff. The room was clean and on the first floor and we were additionally supplied with drinks, after those at the minibar were over. At the reception they ordered a taxi to Olympico stadium and were very nice to us. Just opposite the hotel is the museum of contemporary art, where The Pink Floyd experience exhibition was worth a visit.

Very friendly staff
We chose this hotel when staying two nights in Rome pre-cruise because of the price and reviews. We are a mother traveling with her 3 woman of a certain age daughters. The rooms were just fine, clean and just right for us. Twin beds 2 rooms one on second floor (via a very small elevator) and the second on the third floor walk up from there. Located in a nice residential area with two nice restaurants just up the street and a cute little market we fell in love with nearby. Very quiet area near to Villa Borghese. We had to take a cab sightseeing everywhere due to mobility issues. Valentino the day person at reception was so kind to us and he knew everything. He treated us as royalty. It made our visit so nice. The price is very reasonable for Rome and the hotel is very small. No lobby but the breakfast room was nice. Very small tables but the breakfast included fresh croissants yogurt and dry cereal. Very good espressos . Our room at the back was very quiet. The air conditioner doesn't give out a lot of cooling but we opened the windows. Towels were thin but we were paying a very low rate and got more than we expected. Thank you Valentino and the rest of the staff!

Not a bad little hotel, but a ....
Me and my partner stayed here for the last week of September, which is a lovely time to visit Rome. The hotel itself was nice - rooms were basic but clean, staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. However rooms were noisy due to the noise from the road outside, and the thin walls meaning we could here every noise from the other rooms. WiFi wasn't brilliant, but as I had free mobile data it wasn't too much of an issue for us. My biggest gripe with the hotel however was the room tax - I appreciate that everyone has to pay this tax, however it was disproportionately high for the hotel in question. We paid 40 euros altogether for 5 nights, which is 4 euros per person per night. As 3 star hotels should only be charging 2 euros per person per night, and this definitely wasn't anything but a 3 star hotel, I think this was a bit steep! We weren't told this price until we checked out, so we were a bit annoyed. I probably wouldn't go back here in future due to this!

Average & a bit outdated
Staff were friendly & failry helpful though I do feel the hotel could have been prepared with pamphlets for tourists with a map of the city and helpful information on on how to get about, sights to see, recommend nearby restuarants etc. The hotel itself is quite old and small, and though location is close enough that a taxi isn't exorbitantly expensive - the room we had was street facing and we found it exceptionally difficult to sleep due to noise on the streets. The room has no fan or airconditioning so your options are lack of sleep of an uncomfortable heat! One jem of an alarm clock were dumpster trucks right outside our window. Overall; if you're not fussed about comfort and looking for a budget option then it will do fine.
