I really enjoyed my time in Hotel Patria!!
The location is really good, it was really close to Piazza della Repubblica. The employers were really nice and friendly. The food was really good and varied. I actually went there with a friend who is vegan. She can't say that the breakfast was great for her because the only thing that she ate was the salad fruit, but she still liked it. I'm just writing this because I think is something that the hotel should have in consideration. Another thing not so good about the hotel is it's reception and the Wi-Fi, it's not that good and we can't have it in the all hotel.
Besides that, everything was great. The rooms were good and were always very clean, but we could ear everything from outside.
But I think Hotel Patria is always a very good choice for someone who is planning on going to Rome.

Central location, comfortable ....
We had a great stay at Hotel Patria. It was very comfortable. (My only criticism is that the water pressure was weak, but it wasn't a big deal!) The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is very central - walking to the Colosseum takes less than 20 minutes and Republicca metro stop is just around the corner (2 min walk).

Amazing, Centrally located, Pe....
You are probably laughing at my "people friendly" term. Well, when traveling , how important is it to arrive at a hotel and be received with smiles, graciousness and a good will attitude? This was my first impression of Hotel Patria and its amazing staff of workers. All of them were more than helpful in answering my many, many questions. I am a solo traveler and an older woman. Manners are very important to me and these people have loads of very good manners. I loved my room, I loved the location- near to subway and sights and I loved everything about this hotel. The breakfast was soooooooo yummy. A special shout out to one of the hotel staff who says he's Italian but I swear he has an Australian accent! Grazie mille, Dennis!!!! I can't wait to get back there. For real.

Hotel is ok if you are after a comfy base and good location. Staff are really nice and breakfast is ok - continental style. I stayed in a small single room being a solo traveller was fine for me and felt secure. Don't expect luxury but a good hotel for the price.

The hotel is quite central. The termini is less than ten minutes walk from/to the hotel. There are shops and restaurants close to the hotel. Various attractions like the colosseum can be reached by walking from the hotel. The room i stayed in was cosy. The staff were professional, especially the gentleman that checked me in. Give this hotel a go if and when you decide to visit Rome.
