Nice hotel near the downtown

This Ramses Hilton is a few minute walk away from either downtown or the egyptian museum. The Ramses Hilton staff is friendly and nice barring the security staff who think they are the guests and not you. Restaurants are great Maharaja serves great indian food and the chef is an indian too, the rooftop restaurant has an amazing view. The casino at the Ramses Hilton is what you will not want to Miss here.
Excellent Stay

Centrally located. Excellent view overlooking the nil e river. House keeping is good, the restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced the room tariff is a bit too high. The interiors in the corridor etc including the furniture in the room are a bit run down. I would rate this as a 4. 5 star and not 5 star

Booked Nile suite. Rooms are average and not what you expect from Hilton brand. People in the Ramses Hilton were helpful. They arranged last min table booking in their 36th floor pub. Indian food at Maharaja restaurant was awesome.
Trip to Cairo

The check-in time is 3 pm. We reached the Ramses Hilton by 8 am and were allotted the room by 10 am. The breakfast is good. Food at the Indian restaurant is good too. The concierge was very helpful.

The overall stay was good but they need to work on their servicing. We had to wait in long lines for check-in and check-out due to massive paper work that is being done by the staff.
