Awful Experience at City Palace Hotel

I had a terrible experience staying at City Palace Hotel in downtown Cairo. The room was suffocating—completely windowless, with no ventilation, making it unbearable to stay in. On top of that, everything was dirty and poorly maintained, which made the stay even worse. The staff were unhelpful and uncooperative, showing no interest in resolving any issues. What’s more confusing is that they seem to operate multiple hotels under different names—apparently around 23—and you’re shuffled between them without clear communication. It was impossible to understand where I was actually staying. I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel. The lack of cleanliness, poor service, and overall disorganization made it one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had.
