Punakha Residency

Hotel as expected. Good service. Really Worth staying.

Location 5 km from the Punakha Dzong. Food was quite tasty. They receive visa credit cards which are very rarer in Bhutan. Don't have elevators or lift. Difficult to climb to 3rd or the 4th floor.

We had an online booking and the hotel was sold out. We reached late night so had to figure out things on our own. Staff was helpful, but it was their responsibility to. Arrange something for us rather than we doing it ourselves

Small room compared to the charge they charge but situated at the centre of the Town. Just two min walk from bus stand.

Centrally located. Near to taxi stand But wifi was not working properly

View from hotel room was magnificent, mountain and endless view feeling like top of world.

Room is small. We booked for three adults but room has no space for extra cot. No elevator. No air conditioner. Room view as shown is not matching with at actual. Food is also overpriced and less quantity with respect to other hotels

A decent budget hotel, except it lacks a lift, and for the small size of the rooms.

The hotel was situated near the Punakha Chu River but you can't get the river view. Facilities and hospitality was good but bit higher side on price, their Indian food is good as it's tuff to find in Bhutan. They charge extra for top floor rooms where you can get some view of hills, not any markable view from 1st floor room.

Stay cancelled by MakeMyTrip by unknown error. Another hotel is allocated which is very good.

I booked a room with an extra bed, but these people had no fold able extra bed or sofa cum bed, they just gave one lousy mattress which was no good. Also I had booked an executive room, which was supposed to be the biggest but it was so small that the extra bed wouldn't fit and we had to take the table out. The wifi is so bad that it did not work the whole night and the reception had no solution for it, so waste of mentioning an amenity. The City closed very early, so kindly inform the early about dinner as they have just 2-3 vegetarian options available for the day and they serve same 2-3 things the whole day (Lunch+dinner). The worst thing about the stay construction going on all Around the hotel. And it did not even stop in evening, they would carry on till 12 in the night or more as per their wish, and there are good 3-5 buildings being constructed all Around it, so it's not really a break from the City and bad air if you are looking for the! I was booking Damchen and last moment booked this and regretted a lot after reaching Punakha as Damchen is next to a River and so serene

Not good. Food was horrible and tasteless.
Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights but stayed for 1 night only as they didn't update their bookings. Shifted to some other hotel which was far from town. Bad experience. Don't know what to say but it was very disappointing.
