Blessing in disguise
After a negative experience with AirBnB on Easter Day, we decided last minute to go to Maison Flagey. What it seemed to be our last chance in turned into a fantastic surprise.
Wonderful place, great location, and fantastic customer care.
If I will ever go back to Bruxelles I have no doubts where I will stay.

Most beautiful guesthouse I've....
This small guest house in the Ixil area of Brussels is a homage to art neauveau. It is a beautifully restored townhouse full of original details and rivals the gaudi buildings in Barcelona. Staying here is like staying in an ander gallery. I stayed in the impressive suite - complete with real gold and mosaic shower and roll top bath. For the quality of the building I did not find the room rates expensive. I booked directly and my stay came with a modest yet high quality full organic breakfast. The owner was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable on the architectural and interior styling of the 1900-1930s. The only negative point was the limited check in time - only 5pm-8pm. I suppose for those with heavy luggage the lack of elevator could also be problematic.

Overnight in Brussels
What an unexpected and unusual guest house in a great location. Comfortably restored to make you feel like you stepped back into another era - our room, La Vert, was creative and fun to be in, despite being basic. We loved our stay and will probably return when back in Brussels. Thank you Vincent!

A comfortable step into the pa....
We were in Room 1 of this beautiful art Nouveau Bed and Breakfast. It was hugely comfortable, with amazing bathroom facilities.
The house has has been lovingly restored into its original glory, and Vicent the host put himself out in every way to ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast was great too

Art Nouveau Heaven - Can't Wai....
An utterly beautiful Art Nouveau hotel full of eclectic styling and tasteful flourishes opposite the Ixelles pond in Southern Brussels.
The owner, Vincent, couldn't have been more helpful or attentive....I had driven for work reasons and he helped with parking.
The room was outstanding, 4m high ceilings, balconies overlooking the lake/pond, beautifully furnished and with an marvellous art nouveau bathroom (complete with leaky taps). I slept very well indeed!
Breakfast was simple but superb.
If you are into art; ask Vincent to show you the paintings in relief he has of neolithic labyrinths.
Can't recommend highly enough.
