La Beaute de Hanoi Hotel

We had a comfortable stay. Rooms were very spacious and neat. Breakfast was decent. It is centrally located in the old quarters and very walkable to nearby attractions like the lake, puppet show theatre, beer street, train street, hop on hop off ticket kiosk, etc. The hotel is a little inside an alley, not accessible by car. It is a short 2 minute walk through, so not much of a problem. This adds the advantage of making the rooms quiet even though the location is central. Checkin was smooth and we could keep our bags at the reception and come back at the check-in time.

Location very good. Beer streetis nearby and you are near old quartor. It is a good and well maintained property. Staff is helpful. Breakfast is good but don't expect indian food.

I was denied for early check in inspite of mailing earlier and requesting again n again thou they sold us an empty room for few hours in a hefty price - rooms were very small and there was severe sewerage smell in our room we try to change but there was horrible smell of meat which was stored downstairs for a restaurant - it was hard to survive but we did as we were out most of the time - i will never return

We requested for an early check-in and they gave us a room which was below the category of our original booking and charged us a hefty amount to the hotel room smells like raw meat all the time because of the restaurants downstairs then next we were shifting our own room, which was a very small cramp y room, though they call it a junior sweet cleanliness was bad and sage was smelling in that room. All the time we couldn’t sleep because the ac doesn’t work. Overall it was a bad experience. Language problem was a big problem.

They couldn't get me a room until 6 pm. Just kept on saying they are trying to fix something in the room. Ultimately moved me to another hotel which was not that good.

Very centrally located at old quarter gate. All city locations are very near. Breakfast is good with so much food variety.

Lovely hotel and stay. Right at the heart of Old town. Everything you can think of is available at a stone's throw from here. Staff is also super sweet and help with any questions you might have. They had some good chicken options as well in the breakfast buffet which was a win for us😅 Also helped us book a bus from Hanoi to Cat Ba. 😊 Loved staying here. People who r looking for luxury may not like this area a bit, but otherwise it's great! Total value for money!

Place is extremely nice and cozy with a cooperative staff. Super helpful, person at reception mr. Tom extremely helpful and helped us in all our future bookings

Very courteous and polite staff. Rooms are good and spacious. Best part is they provide additional bottles of water for free which is a big boon in vietnam. Rooms have no good view outside though. Highly recommended for people on a budget.

The hotel was in a very narrow street but service was good enough

Rooms were super the heart of city and easily accessible to hoan kiem lake ,old quarter. staff is courteous and helpful

The rooms are small. Not cramped but small. The photos don't do depict it properly. The breakfast is a la carte. If you are late (anytime after 8.30) you will only get eggs, bacon and bread(2 types of it). Very limited menu. The staff is nice and courteous. It is located in a narrow by lane. Just next to the restaurant which hosted Obama for lunch(if you have seen that picture of his with Vietnamese premier). For taxis, you will have to go to the main road. Loads of options to shop and eat in a 10 meters radius.

This place is not Worth staying for a family, especially if you are a vegetarian. The staff is very unfriendly and does not understand basic english. Not to forget, one has to walk a few steps from the main Road to reach the Hotel and pass through foul smelling restaurants.
