This one was another bad experience in a row at Edinburgh immediately after my previous 2days in Glasgow at Hilton hotels. Hampton by Hilton at Edinburgh was even worse than Double Tree by Hilton at Glasgow. Again, no refrigerator, no water bottles, no dental kits (you can purchase, though)...at this cost, seriously!!! Please don't waste your money at Hilton hotels across Scotland, i would highly recommend Accor and IHG hotel brands such as Novotel and Radisson Blu where I had an amazing experience during my recent stay

Nice well appointed rooms with good housekeeping. A fabulous breakfast buffet enjoyed every morning. The staff are very polite and helpful. I didn’t find anything to be aggrieved of and shall recommend friends and relatives to book this hotel in Edinburgh if they want a nice mid size hotel at or near Edinburgh city centre.

An average hotel with minimal services and redundant breakfast

Super near the public transport and a good restaurant which is also vegetarian friendly. Good amenities.

Hotel location is nice. Breakfast not at all good. Checkin and out time mentioned working in mmt.

The property location is good. You can cover key attractions on foot or hopping on to Edinburgh tour buses from the Grass market stop ( very close to castle ). However, the hotel is a self service hotel and all the basic things like dental kit etc is on chargeable basis. Breakfast option are ok ( speaking from a vegetarian perspective) but you need to prepare your own waffle 😊

The stay was okay. Few amenities were missing such as refrigerator, mineral water. Breakfast was good.

Wonderful experience. Centrally located. Everything is at walking distance. Variety of food outlets nearby. Breakfast and room facilities- excellent!

Room was fine, it was okay for 2 adult and 1 child, with sofa cum bed open there was limited space but we dindnt had much issues. Bathroom was also fine. All basic amenities were provided breakfast was included in room price which was fantastic and spread was fine with veg options as well. Best part is hotel location it is well located, most of the things are within 15-25 mins walking distance.

It was great stay and was very happy to see the staff support. Great job by team.

Very good hotel for providing good value for money service

The hotel just a few minutes walk from both the railway stations. Its very clean and people managing the hotel is really helpful.

The hotel is just a budget hotel. There is no room service at any point in time. Be prepared to get your own glasses, towels if required. You also need to clear your table after breakfast. Didn't feel like a hotel at all. Far from everything.
