The highlight of Sri Lanka Trip. The best stay had in a very long time, much better than other 5 stars like ITC, Taj etc. Hospitality is top notch. The gardens are also really very good. You will feel like its a new hotel while it has a history of 200 Years.

The Grand Hotel is truly impressive — beautiful property, excellent location, and delicious food. The staff are warm, courteous, and always ready to help. A perfect blend of heritage charm and great hospitality! They arranged a cute little anniversary cake for us. We regret staying only one night.

Our stay at the Grand Hotel at Nuwara Eliya was fantastic! it was truly a blissfully and memorable experience which I would highly recommend. The staff the amenities the restaurants were all world class and the environment was so peaceful and perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Poor Stay

while the hotel, location, food and service was top notch but I am really shocked with the behaviour of the MakeMyTrip team. My check in and check out was delayed 'cause apparently the MakeMyTrip team did not pay the child tariff to the hotel. I believe it wasn't sorted until I checked out. while hotel staff was very supportive and good in terms of addressing it directly with MakeMyTrip trip but I didn't see any support coming from MakeMyTrip. Very bad and unprofessional!!!

This is the best hotel I have stayed in my lifetime. The ambience of the hotel, the well manicures gardens the exemplary service was a time travel to English colonial times. The food in the Thai restaurant was great as well.
