Velana Beach Hotel Maldives

Had an amazing time staying here at the Velana beach hotel. The ambience, food, everything was truly wonderful. The entire staff were extremely sweet and helpful, and the owner himself ensured that everything was perfect for us. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming stay. Already looking forward to visiting again soon!

I like this hotel. But some issue is their. My room number is 102 ground floor. Service default. 1 air condition. 2 staff not co operate. 3 manager attitude is not good. 4 veg option is very small. I have not satisfy his service for air condition and food. He is provide only extra 1 fan. And my package is include breakfast lunch dinner. They are not provide first day my lunch. I have reach 4 pm. And second day i have request on my lunch. They are not happy to serve me. Only give 3 roti dal and rice. So not buffet lunch. Breakfast and dinner is good but who is veg their is limited option. Bread. Juice. butter. Jam. Rice. Dal. Nodels. That's sit. Hotel amenities are luxury. Second day cleaning time my bath towel is take to staff. When i come on evening no towel. And i ask staff. Where is my towel her answer is we are not permission to give towel. You contact manger. In this time manager is not avaible on reception. And staff give to sea beach towel. In short service is poor. I have not full fill his service. And cheq out time my luggage is take only his property. I said please take a luggage in near just 5 step walk. They are refuse. So staff service is very poor. Thx you. I did not recommend this hotel. And wifi is provide only one device. So manage not provide another device password. So it'snot good. They talk per room one device add.

This hotel does not complete the 4 stars requirements and no idea how they got 4 stars where they do not have lift, one floor hotel only, empty minibar, no sofa, no lobby sitting, shelves missing in closet, no telephone in the room. Other thing is we wanted to book the boat trips with them but unfortunately they do not accept the card payment even though they have card machines right at the reception counter. We had room at the 1st floor without lift. Need to use stairs all the time. We have booked room in the opposite unit but they never gave us that. Manager seems to me very disrespectful person where he should be the 1st ideal person in this hotel. We had to ask many time to fix the tv which they fixed in 2 days and all the electronic stuff was very old. Very poor quality breakfast and it doesn’t matter if you go down 07:30 or 09:00 the food always been cold and mostly never refilled. The best thing is all the staff at the hotel were very polite except manager. We paid them as 4 stars hotel but got service of 1 star if may be. Do not recommend to anyone just not to get disappointed later like us.

First of all they did not provide rooms on the same floor( we had elderly with us. There was no elevator. Breakfast was always cold. Both the rooms had problems. In one room the balcony lock was broken and in the second room the washroom lock was broken, we couldn't lock it. The safe was not working and the staff too had no clue. I have come to this conclusion that when we book rooms with mmt, the hotel staff never provides good rooms. If we book directly with a hotel they provide the best of services and rooms. However, the staff was cooperative and friendly.

The stay was amazing we got a paid pick up at airport itself near information counter without any hassle. The staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet variety was nice. The room was decorated on our request. Great stay with great people.

Very close to the velana beach. Good breakfast options. They did not accept my fore x card as payment towards water sport activities or for speed boat transfer to male airport.

Location was pretty good, food was great but the only problem was we had booked full meal but for lunch n dinner we had to choice food in which options were less, rooms were clean, manger was very rude

Staying in Velana beach hotel in Maafushi islands was an excellent experience.. The manager Rizwan is a great guy…the sea facing rooms are excellent..breakfast spread was also good… they provide half day and full days snorkeling and diving tours which are must do…the surroundings were neat and clean and it was right next to the beach.. spotted baby sharks and sting rays by just strolling on the beach…they also provide snorkeling gears free…Bikini beach is just 5 mins walking..Mafushi island is the best alternate if one wants to enjoy everything in Maldives in budget instead of spending thousnads of dollars in private resorts

Hi, property location is superb sea view rooms and 40 min by speed boat from main airport velena international airport and male city, food is good, light and stomach friendly which is very important we like maldivian food non spicy, all amenities and services available. I request to carry maldivian rupiyaa as it will be easy to shop and also usd accepted but will cost more.

Wonderful experience, they showed great hospitality. Had an amazing sunrise view from balcony. Food was great and they helped in arranging wonderful water activities for us. Overall i would definitely recommend it.

The hospitality of the hotel was admirable ! such happy and smiling staff always ready to cater to their guests needs.

Stay was good. Had multiple indian cuisine options in the buffet. There is no lift you have to take stairs to reach your room. Drinking water will be refilled only once a day. The staff was friendly and helpful. Do contact the hotel prior to reaching the location so that they can arrange the transfer via speed boat. Overall liked the stay
