Great Location, decent hotel
It gives you the bare minimum. Clean sheets and towels everyday. A small kettle in the room, hair dryer, hot shower etc. The rooms are tiny, but so are most hotel rooms in Paris. The location however is perfect. It's in the city centre and always around 5- 15 mins away from iconic landmarks and tourist spots. Close to 2 lines of the Paris Metro and bus stops. Bar, restaurants, souvenir shops, supermarkets etc are all within reach.

Pretty decent hotel
Not bad little hotel. Close to all amenities. Metro is a short walk. Gare du Nord a 20 minute walk or 3 stops on the metro. Lots of choice for eating and drinking but be careful some of these restaurants are very expensive - even by Paris standards.
The hotel is clean, the room a good size with a comfortable bed and a decent sized bathroom (no shower in our room however - just a hand held one). And best of all, from my point of view at least, tea/coffee making facilities!! The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Probably not the best hotel in the area and it is getting close to needing a bit of a facelift, but by no means the worst I have stayed in. And for the price, certainly worth a look.

As somebody said, "you get what you pay for". My room was more than adequate, clean sheets, clean linen and a kettle with a couple of cups. The bathroom was clean and the proper shower cubicle is a bonus. The wifi is nonexistent in the rooms but works well in the foyer. The breakfast was fairly standard but the coffee is delicious. I'd probably stay here again if the George V was full, it's handy for Sacre Cœur. I recommend a visit to the Chartier restaurant on the Rue de Faubourg.

Simple hotel in a great locati....
Stayed here for two nights recently whilst on a short break seeing the sights of Paris. Conveniently located; just a short walk from a small supermarket where you can buy everything from snacks to fresh vegetables, a few minutes walk from a metro stop and the Moulin rouge. We had booked as we were going to see a show at the Moulin Rouge and didn't fancy travelling across Paris afterwards.
The staff were friendly, they even booked us an airport transfer for our departure day. The room was fairly spacious, and the beds were comfortable enough.
The lift was slightly dodgy, we did get stuck in it once! But staff apologised and it didn't happen again so we didn't let it put us off. It is a particularly small lift so be aware.
The one thing which was slightly bizarre was having to leave your room key at reception when going out for the day, but perhaps this is a culture thing I'm not used to? That being said, it was rather comforting knowing we didn't have to worry about keeping the key safe whilst sightseeing.

Good location! You get what yo....
The location of the Hotel is very convenient, very close to the Pigalle metro station, a Carrefour supermarket and in an area with a lot of pubs and restaurants. It is also quite close to the Moulin Rouge and the Sacre Coeur Basilica.
The room was ok and clean. The sheets were clean and so were the towels and pillows. We stayed there for 4 nights, the towels were changed daily and the room was cleaned. The bed sheets were changed once during our stay.
There is no AC in the rooms (we were aware of that though), so beware if you book the room in the summertime.
The staff was friendly and welcoming and gave us recommendations of places to visit.
Overall, we got what we paid for, an economy room, in a good location, close to important things for a tourist (most the metro and bus station) on a short stay in Paris.
