Hotel Phuntsho Pelri

It was an amazing experience staying here. Hospitality was also nice.

We stayed at Phuntsho Pelri hotel for 2 nights during our trip to Bhutan between 11th Nov 2019 to 16th Nov 2019. The city is quite populated and the hotel is in the of the town. Market is walkable distance or we can say it's in the edge of market. Didi's simple food joint is good for lunch but dinner we took at Hotel itself. We had dinner of cheese momo , veg chowmein, & vegetable hunan ordered being tuesday for three adults myself, my wife and daughter. However service time is lengthy, we need to order atleast 35 to 40 minutes before. All dishes are made as per order only. But as this become less for three we ordered one more vegetable chowmein. Total bill some amount quite moderate and food chowmein was very tasty. Rooms are a bit smaller for three adults after placement of Extra bed on floor. Earlier they sandwiched the blanket between two white bed sheets but during sleep it all got messed up so next day we requested them to provide quilt as it is normally provided in the room. Normal bed is very comfortable. The lobby of hotel is very large with 3 to 4 small shops to buy mementos but bit expensive but good quality. Second night we ordered well in advance four dishes Kewa Farsi (must order Bhutan's special dish) potato with cheese sauce and spices. Cheese momo, veg fried rice and chicken chili. Good taste but chicken chili may be situated with some other recipe. Quantity very less as we ordered boneless. Check-in counter at hotel very nicely decorated. Very nice and courteous staff. Hassle-free check-in. Only food bills are settled during checkout as room rents are already paid through MakeMyTrip web site. Nice place to stay. Double standard is best suited for two adults only.

The reception staff did not well educated.
