A beautiful stay in Vienna
My parents and I stayed in room 211. We stayed in Vienna from May 8 to May 15, 2018.
The triple occupancy room is gigantic! Super quaint and clean! It had 12-foot ceilings, three single beds, two lounge chairs in front of the TV, two tables (one with TV on top, one a writing desk) and another two armoires for storage and clothes. It’s the biggest room we’ve ever stayed in while travelling Europe. The beds and pillows were super comfortable. It literally felt like home the first night we stayed here. The bathroom was a decent size as well, similar to the one we have at home. The water pressure was super strong to our pleasant surprise. The room windows opened up wide so that we could get fresh air during the day and night. Although there was construction happening on the street of the hotel, it didn’t really bother us since we were out for most of the days we were in Vienna and are also early birds.
THE BREAKFAST (from 7am-10am)
The breakfast was phenomenal! There was an assortment of cakes, cheeses and breads. There was also fresh fruit salad, fruits (apples, grapes, clementines), yogurt, hot scrambled eggs and steamed sausages, cereal, juices, coffee and tea. There was also honey, jams and Nutella. You really get your bang for your buck for breakfast! It was delicious!
The hotel is a 2 minute walk to the Rathaus metro and around a 15 to 20 minute walk to the inner city square of Vienna. It’s worth staying here!
Tip: The city hall is 5 minutes away and gives free tours on certain days. It is also close to the State Theater, which is worth a visit just to see the amazing staircase. The entrance to this staircase is on the left hand side of the building. It’s gorgeous!
Peter and Nadia were phenomenal. Yes, the reception hours are limited (6:30am-6pm) but it wasn’t a deal breaker for us. We just made sure to ask all our questions before our arrival to the hotel (for our check in) and made sure we asked all our tourist questions before we left in the morning. It worked out perfectly! The staff is kind and friendly, just like family. The hotel is a family run business and that definitely is the feel we got as well. When we asked for 2 extra pillows since our feet were tired and we found them in our room the same day without any trouble or problem. N.B If you arrive after 6pm on your check in day, they have a key box with a code that they will email you once you make your request known by email. Once you punch in the code, you get the key to the front door and your room. You get the same key for the entrance to the hotel and the room. Also note that there are two elevators, one small and one big in the hotel. The staff also holds your luggage for you if your room is not ready yet or if you have a flight later in the day.
All these factors made this budget hotel near city center Vienna a great choice for our family vacation. I would definitely stay here again! It’s a great value for your money!

Great location to sites, resta....
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay. You can walk in any direction from the hotel and within 10 minutes you will find something to eat or tour. The breakfast area is nice and there is a variety of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit, as well as eggs and sausages. We liked the little elevator with the bench. Our only complaint is that we didn't see beforehand that check-in has to occur before 6 pm. We luckily noticed it as we were landing in Vienna on our print out with directions. PANIC! Thankfully, the information help desk in the airport called the hotel for us at 5:40 pm and we got the code for the lock box where they put the key when they leave at 6 pm. We kept the window open because it was warm and there is construction work on the street and they promptly began at 7 to 7:30 a.m. each morning but it was all finished by 9:30.

Old fashioned style & good val....
We stayed here for 4 nights in April 2018, and were not disappointed. This is a basic hotel which is perhaps more old fashioned than what some people would prefer, however if you are looking for a clean, comfortable tourist hotel with nice staff then this is ideal. The breakfast is fairly basic but with more than enough choice to cater for all diets and preferences.

Quite nice hotel with pretty kind staff. Location it was perfect to me and breakfast buffet it wasn't special (I suppose low quality food). The room was so small and the shower malfunctioning. Parking at museumplatz is expensive €14/24hrs.
