Good food , nice ambience, room service was excellent, cleanliness was on point , the staff was very friendly.

Basic facility like toothbrush , tea beg are not in room ! Ac not working well ! For veg iteration the are only rice and fruits in breakfast ! Location is good !

Review of Phi Phi Banyan Villa Stayed at Phi Phi Banyan Villa for a short trip. The experience was okay, but a few things could have been better. The wooden flooring in the room made constant creaky sounds, which was quite disturbing, especially at night. It took away from the comfort of the stay. I had booked with breakfast included, but unfortunately, I was just two minutes late past their closing time. Despite being unwell, they refused to serve breakfast, which felt a bit rigid and lacking courtesy. A little flexibility would have been appreciated. The overall stay was decent—nothing extraordinary. The swimming pool was okay, but nothing special. Staff behavior was a bit rude at times, which slightly impacted the experience. If you're looking for a basic stay with an average experience, this place is fine, but don’t expect exceptional service.

TL;DR - even though the hotel is good (slightly aging), dont bother because the unprofessional and racist staff will most likely ruin your stay. While the Phi Phi Banyan Villa itself boasts pleasant physical attributes, my recent experience was unfortunately marred by consistently poor service, leaving a distinctly negative impression. Despite traveling with a baby and requesting an early check-in, we were met with a complete lack of sympathy or flexibility. This was compounded by a delayed check-out. Communication was also a significant hurdle. While the staff interacted seamlessly with other foreign guests, our interactions were fraught with difficulties. It often felt as if they either didn't understand English or chose to feign ignorance, leading to a frustrating experience. This disparity in treatment unfortunately led me to suspect a degree of racial bias against Indian guests. A particularly disappointing incident involved the denial of luggage transfer to the pier, with no reasonable explanation provided. I would like to specifically mention Phatsaya and Wanisa, whose behavior was notably rude and unprofessional throughout our stay. These people should not do front office work considering their attitudes.

As someone with 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including front desk operations, I understand the challenges of managing a small hotel. However, the level of service we received was far below acceptable standards and deeply disappointing. I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

The lobby is horrible. We were there early so room wasn’t ready. We had to wait in the lobby with no ac or even a proper functioning fan. Staff was reluctant. Only good part was the room which comes with a balcony and is liveable. Better avoid coz the locality is too crowded and there are much better options available nearby

Extremely run down and shabby room with torn bedsheets, worn out, smelly, and degraded towels and ripped curtains. Creaky wooden flooring and chipped walls and furniture was only topped by the arrogant and rude attitude of the staff. The only plus was the location and the look of the entrance. I'm sure there are better resorts in phiphi who understand the meaning of hospitality.

Stay was good, nice clean room, only food was not good

Receptionist was too harsh, and rude. At night when i asked extra water, told me get from outside, we provide only 2 bottles. At checkout time, she argued that you guys have stolen the sleepers though there were no sleepers at all. Breakfast was average, same menu every day. Dont book this hotel ever.

The staff was extremely rude. The ac could not be switched off, they had to change our room. The service was not that great. Just an ok property.

Property was good location is superb breakfast menu option limited and basic amenties were not there like dental kit and no staff is at desk after 10pm

It was good if you only spend the night. As in phi phi island almost all hotels are kind of same but not worth the money.

Most of the hotel in phi phi lack hygiene, a lot of mosquitoes. Average stay. Phi phi needs a good hotel.

Nice stay with good breakfast at the beach. We went as a group of 4 people. Food was very nice and the amenities.

The hotel is located at a 2 min walk from the main pier. The rooms are well maintained, however, the washrooms are very basic and dated. The pool is also good but misses the bar for drinks by the pool.

Rude staff. Made us wait after check out to check room. It was a bit discriminatory. Location is good, walkable from ton sai pier. Room lighting is low.

Everything was as expected. Decent hotel near the pier and they have a couple of nice restaurants opposite the area where the rooms are. Complementary breakfast was good with a decent spread. The front desk and the rest of the staff members were courteous. Rooms were slightly smaller than, but it was good enough for two people. Really liked the attached balcony or the garden area. It gave me the staying in the woods vibe due to its wooden interiors, which personally like. Overall a good hotel to choose.
