Outrigger Koh Samui Beach Resort

Outrigger Koh Samui is a lovely, well-maintained property that delivers exactly what you need for a serene beach holiday. The rooms are compact but impeccably clean — perfectly fine considering you’re unlikely to spend much time indoors when you’re in a place like Koh Samui. The beachfront restaurant is a highlight, offering stunning views that make every meal special. While the beach directly in front of the resort is partly rocky and mossy — not the endless sandy stretch you’d find further south in Lamai or north in Chaweng — the location itself is perfect. You’re bang in the middle of everything, with both Lamai and Chaweng just a quick 15-minute drive away. The resort really shines for families. There’s a fantastic kid-friendly, beachside pool area that little ones will love. Plus, a dedicated kids’ entertainment section with a line-up of daily activities — both complimentary and paid — thoughtfully designed for kids, especially those under 10. It’s a great way to keep them engaged and entertained. For adults, however, there’s not a whole lot in terms of recreation beyond the pool. A TT table, pool table, and an ice hockey table — and that’s about it. If you’re looking for more vibrant adult-centric entertainment, you’d likely step out to explore the island. Breakfast is modest but hits the mark — not an extravagant spread, but well-curated, fresh, and tasty enough to fuel your day. Could it be more lavish? Sure. But it does the job well. The only slight letdown was the restaurant food beyond breakfast — while the menu has decent variety, the flavors were somewhat muted. Not bad by any means, but could definitely be elevated with a bit more punch. Overall, Outrigger Koh Samui is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and conveniently located resort with a stunning beachfront vibe. Great for families and for travelers who want to explore the island while having a peaceful retreat to return to. Would recommend it for sure.

The location of the property was good, but the hospitality of staff was very poor compared to the other good hotels I’ve stayed in. I don’t think MMT luxe does justice to this property!

Amari koh samui is a better choice than outrigger. Outrigger’s location is a disadvantage. Additionally, our shower didnt work properly making it a difficult experience post our beach swim.

Reception staff was very rude, we wanted water late night, staff asked us go to nearby 7/11 store and buy it, he was not interested in serving hotel guests. Never coming back again

The hospitality is great and i just loved the property. The beach and pool side is just breathtaking.

The property just has about everything one can ask for in a place like koh samui, they have excellent staff to care and make our stay memorable.

Pool was gorgeous. Food was bit expensive. Staff was lovely. Especially kevin. Love him! great location! rooms were also really well lit and spacious.

We stayed here for 2 nights the hotel is very good you would feel as u r staying in a 5 star property big resort with nice swimming pools it’s a must book property in lanai and it’s close to chaweng beach where all the night life happens

Decent hotel. However, service was lacking. Felt the hotel was understaffed. Everything took time. And bell boys never showed up to take the luggage. And it’s quite tricky to transport luggage in the rocky trail. Also the pool facing the beach is across the road from the property

This property is actually underrated. They call it a four star hotel but indeed the facilities, amenities and the service they provide are 5 star level. The rooms are well equipped. The hotel is centrally located from all major attractions in Koh Samui.

Nice property with personal attention by the staff. Got complimentary upgrade on our stay.
