The hotel is centrally located and close to major attractions and tram lines.
But it is nothing special.
It's clean and the staff is friendly. Breakfast is simple but nice. The rooms are old and uninspiring.

I read many negative reviews before but the hotel was actually ok. Nice entry hall in marble, room was very clean, bed was good. It is not a new hotel but everything is clean, price is very attractive for Geneva

I stayed at this hotel recently with my business colleagues. This is NOT a four star hotel. The reception staff on check in were difficult and unhelpful. When I finally made it to my room after being given the wrong room number on my key card, I found the room clean but no free water! Stayed one night and ventured down to breakfast. None of the tables had been cleared by waiting staff after guests had left. When I presented myself and my room number and requested a table for breakfast I was told “if I could find a free table then I could clear it myself!” I duly complained to Reception only to have the number of staff in question challenge me over the matter while I was eating my breakfast in the lobby. A complete disgrace.

Very poor and not 4 star: 2 st....
I stayed here for 5 nights during the Geneva motor show. A very poor experience and four star - it is not. Very expensive as well. The first night I had dinner as I could not be bothered to go out. Very mediocre food and I was the only person in the small restaurant. The barman did not know what a "vodka martini" was. Room was stifling hot even with the AC (which didn't work) turned on or off made no difference, and the windows flung open at night. (In March !! ) Very old furniture. A bathroom of at least 20+ years old. Rubbish bathroom accessories like shampoos and soap. Horrible decor. Worn bathroom floor from 10,000 guests over the years. An IBIS would be a better bet and the same standard. My bill was £300 a night. A joke.
