“Good value for money”
Modern medium sized tourist/business hotel very close to Geneva Airport. Located away from the main road down a cul-de-sac but close to the E62 motorway. Noise not an issue. Bedroom on the small size but clean and functional. Modula ibis shower. Buffet breakfast is basic but OK. Friendly team. There is a free shuttle transit van to Geneva airport every 20 minutes. You can also walk via a bridge over the E62 and footpath. Takes about 20 minutes. Very good value for Switzerland.

Good for business
Clean budget hotel with average facility. Walking distance from both airport and Palexpo. Nice breakfast. Very friendly staffs. Worth of money you spent. If you travel for business for few days in Geneva, this is your hotel.

So I recently visited the Geneva Motor Show but decided this year for it to be a flying visit so location of the hotel and price was more important than anything else.
Located within walking distance of the airport, train station and Geneva Motor Show this was the perfect location.
Price was fantastic especially as many hotels around Geneva can be rather expensive so I usually stay in a local village further from the main city.
What did surprise me however is the overall quality of the hotel especially for being a 2 star. Clean, great staff, breakfast was nice and room was surprisingly good.
Ibis would definitely be a hotel chain I would use. If your planning on staying in Geneva this is an amazing hotel and the train station links and bus station close by will allow you to see more of an already wonderful country.

Worth both of its two stars
You know what you're getting with the hotel brands in the Accor Group. Ibis provides a reliable and functional hotel offering. The Geneva Airport Ibis is pretty much what you would expect from any hotel in the chain.
My room was clean, tidy and practical. No frills but perfectly good for an overnight stay. Effective temperature control, easily accessible wi-fi and adequate desk space.
It's an airport hotel and provides a free shuttle which is good but the fixed 20 minute interval means that it actually took me longer to get from the airport to the hotel than taking the train into one in the city centre. The shuttle bus driver was surly and cross that I didn't know the street address of the hotel: Ibis Aeroport appeared to be not enough explanation.
Check in was delayed while two young men, without much flair for hospitality, fiddled with mixed success with several payment terminals before the guest before me and I could check in.
The desk service in the morning, however, was exemplary: taxi organized, bill settled efficiently and pleasantly.
The buffet breakfast was not my best purchasing decision: seemed over-priced for a very limited offering even by Geneva standards.

I travel a lot and that was very bad in the end! On my arrival I noticed that my credit card had already been charged an excessive amount, although Booking.com explicitly stated that no prepayment would be made! The guy at reception said it was charged and I'll get back the difference on my final payment. The guy at the departure said that the creditors were only notified but not charged (this is demonstrably a lie!). My credit card was already charged from the evening before until my departure without my authorization (or prior information to me)! Don't play games with me and my credit card. Write this in Booking or inform the customers in advance! The guy at the reception said he's been doing this for 15 years (I travel a lot and it was the first time so fraudulent without authorization and prior information) - you can also do something wrong for 15 years...
