The The Fort House was really cosy with a four poster bed. However, we were told to buy basics such as toothbrush and paste from a Cargill express store next door. I am not used to be told to buy these basics at a The Fort House. I requested the desk manager to kindly provide me potato cutlets in an English breakfast since we didn't eat eggs or sausages. The manager didn't give me a convincing response ans when asked about a refund he refused it. After a call with the proprietor, in which we were told we had paid off season fare and that most people even skip breakfast, and wherein a request turned , we were finally given an olive branch in the form of hoppers with tomato curry. Breakfast was delicious the next day. Apart from the little thing about the brush and the for decent breakfast, it was a wonderful stay and we would love to stay again here, albeit after managing our expectations.

Such a cute place in the narrow streets of Galle, Very close to the attractions, like the galleFort, the clock tower. The restaurants nearby amazing, and the complimentary breakfast was too good. Would definitely recommend this place for people who planning to stay.
