Kimberley Hotel Georgetown

Due to my family problems I tried to cancel my booking.But No refund amount was not applicable ....Terrible experience,I have never ever experienced Such rules of hotel booking.

Extra charges were asked by Guard at the time of check in.

Property is centrally located and very close to the main bus terminal. It has 3 malls at walking distance and the staff is also very cooperative. Josh, at front reception, has a pleasing personality and very helpful.

The staff at this hotel were amazing. They went beyond their way to help us. If faced some problems in an unknown place and they came to the rescue. So thank you from the bottom of my heart. The hotel was beautiful and location was perfect. The breakfast buffet was okay. But there were some problems that i would like to point out - 1. Lift in 3rd floor did not work. 2. The room was a little too cramped for 2 people. There was no space to move.

Prime location, great service, accommodative (provided us early breakfast as our flight was early morning, the complimentary breakfast was delicious and sumptuous. Best value for money. Couldn’t be more happier to have selected kimberly and plan to do the same for all our future visits to penang.

Good location just behind the komtar bus station. Rooms are small, but reasonably comfortable. Doormen during the day or night are really sweet people. However, the front desk staff are not really friendly. Checkin opens at 3 - never heard of such a late checkin anywhere. And the staff don’t oblige to give the room even a minute sooner even when you arrive tired. And the front desk closes from 10. 30pm to 7am. So if you have a late night flight, you’re doomed. There is a 50rm deposit for every room which isn’t mentioned anywhere. And the breakfast was not a buffet which was a bummer as well.

Hotel is in main location. Mall and other attractions are nearby. However toilet space is very small and room is pretty compact. Otherwise worth for the money
