Kinta Riverfront Hotel & Suites

Let me start.... Don't get fooled by looking at lobby/reception area. Beauty ends there! Location-wise not so terrible. Pros. 1) Near railway station 2) Walking distance famous lanes 3) Good breakfast buffet options if you have chose one with breakfast package. Good food honestly. Cons. 1) Rooms - Very old looking space. Old dirty carpet nobody knows when it was cleaned. 2) Housekeeping - Doesn't give about cleaning or request. (My rooms had long hairs in bathroom. I have requested twice to clean. I believe it is still there after my checkout.) 3)Pool and Gym - If you are fitness freak or want to swim.... Don't... People doesn't shower before entering pool. The Pool is closed daily for housekeeping and cleaning from 12-2 pm. Same old dirt and twigs floating after cleaning as well. Gym is seriously unsafe even for light cardio. Overall hotel is less maintained facility with fancy lobby.

Kin-ta riverfront suite has a nice stay with good in middle of old town of ipoh. It has great view along with swimming pool. Breakfast was equally good and staff was nice and cordial.

I stayed here for one day and my overall experience was good. The hotel is situated at a good location in ipoh. I faced some challenges to get in room dining but the ordering something from grab was always an option available( though you have to go in the lobby to pick it up) the 7-11 was next to it and the morning breakfast had a great vibe and options.
