Hotel Hillarys

Not a great place to stay! Had AC issues and was very congested. For the money we paid, it’s a total disappointment. No water bottle was provided, no room cleaning for 3 days and breakfast had very limited options.

We reached early from Tokyo around 10AM and requested for early check-in as had 02 years old child with us but was refused and instead had to pay extra for early check-in. They have different price slabs for early check-in and late check-out. We had breakfast included in our package and was surprised when they asked us what time we would eat our breakfast and accordingly they will issue coupons valid for 30 minutes. Breakfast is served from 06:45 to 09:30. Also rooms are cleaned alternate days due environmental issues. Rooms and toilets are small but clean. Namba and nipponbashi stations are 9 to 10 minus walk from hi lady's. To reach osaka kix airport you will need to take train from nankai namba train station and need to book in advance to reserve seats.

Hillary Hotel locate on 3 station subway, 1. Nippombashi, 2. Namba and 3. Ebisucho (I recommend Nipponbashi is easy, after leave from exit 6 and turn left, go straight around 2 traffic light until you meet 7-11 store, the entrance next to 7-11) Hotel very clean and up to date, the breakfast more variety of food but so crowded, the hotel staff not so friendy.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Namba. Very close to famous Dotonbori. Rooms are good by Japanese standards. Staff very helpful and courteous. Free drinks and snacks counter throughout the day. Washing and cleaning facilities available at 100 yen only. Will recommend hotel to everyone.
