Although the hotel is situated well away from the city ... this is reflected in the price, the shuttle was very useful and even came early for us one evening when the rain fell like never before, rooms were cleaned as and when we requested ( I do not see the need for clean towels and bedding every day ) the staff were pleasant and helpful.

My mum and I stayed here while on a 5 day city break to Rome. Cannot praise this hotel and staff enough. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, perfect for a base. There is a shuttle into the city at select times during the day and it also picks you back up later on. We daily took the 1030am shuttle out and returned on the 930pm shuttle back, providing a cheap and safe alternative to using public transport in an unfamiliar area. The driver was very friendly and helpful and even collected us early when we called due to the weather. Good selection of food at breakfast and bar snacks also very nice. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Rome!

Not worth it
Our expectations were fairly low for this place. All we wanted was a place to crash for the night near the airport, and we definitely weren’t expecting luxury. However, despite the reasonable price, this place is not worth it.
When we checked in, we were put into a room on the third floor that smelled very strongly of smoke. When we called down to reception to request a room change, the clerk explained that the entire third floor is a smoking floor. When we said we had asked for a non smoking room (and floor), the clerk was sarcastic and said that people sometimes want an ocean view room and they don’t get it - as if requesting a view and not getting it is in the same universe as being stuffed into a room that reeks of smoke and feels like it’s been used as an ashtray for the last 40 years. Finally, after an argument, we were moved to the fifth floor.
After our room change, we made another surprising discovery. As it’s April, it’s not so cold at night, and we got a little hot in the room. There is zero air circulation whatsoever - literally no air flow in and out of the room - so it was extremely stuffy. But guess what? No air conditioning. Why? The clerk snootily informed us that “it’s not the season, so the air conditioning system throughout the hotel isn’t turned on.” Basically, our only choice to be able to breathe in the room was to crack the window and hear the noise from the busy highway (and cargo train!) all night.
It’s not possible to sleep in this hotel, and the attitude of the clerks makes me sure to say to skip this place.

Clean & Modern Hotel
We traveled with a group and were staying at this hotel. I was a bit concerned with how far it was from the city, but gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. Our group had stayed at a number of more centrally located hotels in other cities in Rome and was disappointed with the noise, poor sleeping conditions and overall grimy appearance of the rooms. The Ibis was a refreshing change. The rooms were clean and modern, and offered a good nights rest after a full day of site-seeing. It was also conveniently located closer to the airport for when we were done our stay. If you can handle taking the 25-40 minutes into town (depending on traffic), this hotel is a good stay.

Looking for my sunglasses
My wife and I stayed at Isis Fiera Roma from Oct.3 to Oct.5 of last year. We were very satisfied with almost every aspect of the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was very good every morning.
The day we checked out, Oct.5, I forgot my prescription sunglasses in our room. I didn't notice this until we arrived home the following day. It took me a few days to send an email to Isis asking to check the room or lost and found, basically because I thought I had left the glasses somewhere else.
The hotel answered my email to tell me that they had found my sunglasses and that they would send them to me as soon as the warehouse attendant was back from vacation.
Weeks went by and when I requested some info about the delay I was told that somebody in the warehouse had lost the sunglasses, that they were trying to find them, but if they couldn't,...THEY WOULD PAY FOR THEM!...They ask me for a copy of the purchase receipt, which I sent on Jan.14....and I never heard from them again!!..
I say to you travelers....Stay a Isis Fiera Roma. It's a nice economy hotel close to the airport....Just don't leave anything behind in the room!...Thanks.
