Mostly a motel, in an area far from Rome's center with no easy access to local stores. It took us more than 45 minutes to 1 hour to arrive at the historical center especially when there was traffic jam in the morning and late in the evening. It was not so clean, especially the bathroom with hair and stains on the water sink and the toilet lid. The beds were small, the radiator was not functioning well, the dining hall was inadequate , we couldn't have dinner or breakfast all the group at the same time especially when there were other groups of tourists. The windows could not stay open and there wasn't any net protecting from insects, mosquitos etc. There was no security locks and they had a typical, simple key for the room. There wasn't even a mirror in the room. The breakfast was fair enough (for this hotel) but the dinner was nothing special. It was actually poor and very bad for Italy's food tradition. Mostly rigatoni with a thin tomato sauce that tasted like it was taken out of a supermarket jar. And if you were lucky they would bring you a bit of grated cheese. It felt like they were feeding soldiers and not clients. They were not so polite with exceptions of course and they gave us the impression that they were not prepared to serve and take care of large groups of people at the same time. Not a wise choice for groups of tourists and definitely not a 4-stars hotel.

2* AT BEST
Spent 5 days here. Lady on reception was rude and unhelpful. Gentleman much friendlier and helpful. No housekeeping the entire stay! Rooms are beyond basic. Ate breakfast and the preserves were 2 months out of date which we discovered when putting on our toast and finding it mouldy! Reported to staff who appeared unapologetic and disinterested.

4* is outrageous
Not even close to a 4* hotel. Toilet broken, plugs don't work, holes in bedding, stains on curtains. Breakfast was so bad that we skipped after day 1 and ate elsewhere. Not great access to the city centre - you can take a metro then a bus or two busses but it takes the best part of an hour to get in or out (or a 26€ taxi).
Find somewhere closer to the centre if you really want to explore Rome properly!

Not a 4 stars hotel!
We stayed here in november 2016 for 4 nights hoping to enjoy our time in Rome.
The location is pretty good, 10 mins walk to a subway station also with convenience stores and restaurants very close for those who'd rather dine close to their hotel. However it took us almost 1 hour until city center attraction so from this point of view not really worthy.
The hotel room was dull and not what we expected but at least were clean.
Receptionists all nice and eager to help with information clients might need.

Rome is amazing, the hotel is ....
I and my friend stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. We were in Rome for tourism just for this short period. The longest period of our vacation we spent in Rimini. The hotel was chosen because it was cheaper than the hotels in the center and it looked convenient to get to the center by metro. Well, I couldn’t know that it’s so difficult to change line in Rome’s metro (you have to come out from metro and go on foot for 10 minutes or take a bus). Anyway it’s possible to get to the center by metro and the metro station is pretty close to the hotel.
We booked a standard double-room. The room was pretty clean, spacious and comfortable, but the furniture was partly time-worn. We could see a lovely courtyard from the window. The design of the room was simple and pleasant. There wasn’t air-conditioner (!), but it wasn’t hot in Rome during our staying. It had a mini-bar but it worked really badly. The safe wasn’t free but Wi-fi was free and worked excellent. The beds were comfortable, but the hotel was big, there were a lot of people and it wasn’t comfortable to sleep there after 7 A.M.
Breakfasts were pretty basic, every day we had the same menu, the quality of food was average, but we definitely weren’t hungry after breakfasts. Sometimes we had to come to the restaurant and come back to the room because there were too much people in the restaurant and all the food had been eaten before we came, but in 30 minutes the staff brought the food again.
The staff on the reception and in the restaurant were friendly but very busy, so they couldn’t pay lots of attention to every person. The cleaning-service was totally satisfactory.
In conclusion, we spent the biggest part of our time in Rome watching breathtaking touristic attractions and our staying in the hotel seemed quite pleasant, but I think that place can’t be the 4* hotel, and I was glad that I didn’t need to stay there for longer time. On the other hand, it helped to save some money and wasn’t disgusting. So, I can say that the hotel is OK.
