Mercure Resort Sanur

I recently stayed at Mercure Resort Sanur, and overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing experience. The resort is perfectly located with direct access to Sanur Beach, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to unwind by the sea. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, which added a personal touch to the stay. One of the biggest highlights is the beachfront location. You can walk out and find numerous beachside eateries offering local Balinese dishes — a great way to enjoy authentic food with a view. The breakfast buffet was decent, with a mix of Western and local options, though not overly elaborate. The resort has two small swimming pools, which were clean and not overly crowded. Renting cycles or taking a leisurely stroll along the beach path is another enjoyable way to spend your day. Resort also has inhouse Spa, but prebooking is mostly necessary. However, a few downsides are worth noting. My room had only one charging point, which was inconvenient given today’s gadget-heavy lifestyle. I’d recommend bringing an extension strip if you're carrying multiple devices. Also, the vegetarian menu was extremely limited, with barely 3–5 options available — definitely something the Mercure Resort Sanur could improve on. Also, I would personally prefer higher room variants. delux and superior rooms are fine. I was not satisfied with bed linen / towel quality and tiny size of the bathroom. If you're planning to explore areas like Ubud frequently, be prepared for long drives — it takes 70 to 90 minutes each way. That said, Grab taxis (similar to Ola/Uber) are easily available and surprisingly affordable, making local travel manageable. In summary, Mercure Sanur is great for beach lovers and those looking for a quiet, laid-back stay, but it's not the most convenient base if your itinerary includes daily trips to central Bali.

Amazingly friendly staff and awesome services. Nice room, great swimming pools with a stunning view. Resort is situated at beach which makes us to feel privileged like our own beach. Rooms surrounded by green fields and gardens which makes the place calm, beautiful, closed to nature and full with positive energy. They serve almost everything non-vegetarian but when I informed that I am a pure veg, they put their 100 percent efforts to serve us a great vegetarian food. Malaika Secret garden is an awesome option for vegetarian people. Surfing classes are available in Mercure Resort Sanur premises. At the beach water activities counter is available so you can hire a jet ski or do other activities like parasailing, banana boat etc. Bike is available for rent which is good option to explore nearby areas. I loved my days over there. Will be back to this villa again in future.

The property's location is the star attraction. It's on sanur beach. So you can see sunset & sunrise. The food is nice, the rooms are good for the price ( not fancy) & the Mercure Resort Sanurs service is top class, every member is polite and warm to talk to. Would definitely recommend families to come & enjoy your stay here.

An excellent property in the quite neighbourhood of sanur. Located right at the beach with a cute cafe nearby and the local markets 5 minutes away. Perfect for a quite relaxing time in bali with family.

Location is awesome if you plan to go to Nusa Penida for a day trip. Hotel is right on Sanur Beach which is very calm and great for some light water activities.
Rooms are small but enough for 2 people.

Location is very nice, being an Indian food was not suited for me.
Room need to be painted again and light is very less in the room. Also Bathroom is very small.

The resort is located in the quiet area of Sanur. Perfect gateway for relaxation and rejuvenation.
